Ren’s Car Costume Design

Last week, the teachers from Ren’s school asked the students to bring a car costume that they will use for their P.E. class.

Our house is quite far from Ren’s school and our way of going there is via commuting (2 rides), so the big question for daddy and I was how can we bring the car costume at school and how can we make it easy for Ren to carry it.

My husband (a graphic artist) asked me to buy an Acrylic Paint to be used to design the box.  Unfortunately, the spray paint that I bought can’t cover the name on the box, so he decided to design the car on Corel and just printed it.

Here is the finish product:

We used his old suspenders to hold on to the box so that he can easily wear it. It was very light and can be folded for easy carrying.

At the day of the event,  Ren was very happy running about in his race car.
