Alfaparf Keracollagen by Team Sir George Salon Molino

I had 2 salon visits this month, one is at BGC for my hair color and recently I had an Alfaparf Keracollagen from Team Sir George Salon in Molino Boulevard.

My last hair treatment to make it more manageable was November 2016. I had a Kerabond and my hair was straight for more than 6 months.

This time, I chose the Alfaparf Keracollagen because it was stated at Team Sir George Salon Molino FB page that it is advisable for people who have frizzy, unmanageable and with excessive hair fall. So instead of rebond they recommend having the Alfaparf Milano Lisse Design Keracollagen treatment.

According to their post, It is a brazilian treatment with collagen which aids in bringing back the elasticity of the hair making your hair shinier, nourished and healthy. You do not need to wait for three days because the actual outcome will be seen after putting the last step of the treatment. It has 50% straightening effect which will last up to 3 months. It’s perfect for the heavily damaged and brittle hair.

When I read that, I thought that this treatment is perfect for my hair since I suffer from excessive hair fall.

The store opens at 11am every Mon-Sun (except Thursday). I arrived around 12pm and I was their first customer that day.

PROCEDURE:

One staff shampooed my hair first. The shampoo chair is not that comfy, the unit was kinda broken which made my nape hurt and feel uncomfortable.

This was what my hair looked like after the shampoo and blowdry.

After that, they applied a solution on my hair. We waited for a few minutes then they blow dried it. After blow drying, they used a straightening iron on my hair.

This is what my hair looked like after ironing. Can you see the baby hair (like trolls’ hair on top). That’s the effect of hairfall.

Then another chemical was applied.  Then they washed my hair again and blowdried it for the last time.

It was a 4 hour procedure.

COMMENT
What’s nice with this treatment is that I don’t need to wait for 3 days to be able to wash my hair. They said that I could wash it the next day, but it’s advisable if I will use a Keratin shampoo, or if I don’t have one, I just need to wash it with hair conditioner for the next 3 days.

See, it’s not 100% straight, but it’s okay with me.

Kasi I can feel that my hair was soft, shinier and truly my hair falls have lessened. I just want a manageable hair and not really a straight one so I think this treatment is okay for me. Still, ang ganda nung after treatment sa salon sana, hindi sya mukhang walis tambo di ba?

I suggest, kung gusto nyo talaga ng straight hair, pa rebond muna kayo then after a few months, avail of this Keracollagen treatment.

My comment with regards to the store is that it is quite small and they don’t have FREE Wifi for their customers (well most salons that has a price range like them don’t offer one naman talaga, so expected na yun).

The staff are nice, and the owner was there too. But what I don’t like is that it seems they are not that confident with what they are doing. The owner always remind them to do this and do that (like bawasan mo yung lagay, dagdagan mo pa etc).

Also, if you get hungry the convenience store is quite far from the area. Compared to those situated in the malls, where you can get food easily, here you need to ask the staff to go out for you.

I paid P2,000 for this hair treatment.

Will I ever go back here, hmmmm maybe.
