Our Luxurious Stay at Sky Tower, Solaire Hotel in Pasay
Ten years ago, we stayed at Solaire Entertainment City at Pasay to celebrate my son’s 7th birthday. Back then, there was only the Bay Tower. Fast forward to today, this time we were able to stay at their luxurious Sky Tower for our second visit.

The Sky Tower has received the Forbes Travel Guide 5-Star Rating for six consecutive years, recognized globally for its impeccable service and world-class amenities.
Check-in was quick and smooth. We were asked to deposit a ₱5,000 incidental fee, which is fully refundable if not used for purchases during your stay.
Our Room – Sky Studio
We stayed in a 65 sqm Sky Studio that felt spacious and elegant in every corner. It had two queen-sized beds and an extra bed, perfect for our family of three.

The room came with a cozy sofa, a dining table, and thoughtful welcome treats—a charcuterie platter, a bottle of wine, and a personalized letter. It truly felt like a VIP experience.

One highlight was the bedding. Solaire’s linens and pillows are among the best I’ve experienced even compared to hotels abroad. I checked the brand, and it’s Ploh from Singapore—the same one used by Marina Bay Sands!

Entertainment-wise, the room features a 55-inch LED satellite TV with both international and local HD channels. I especially loved the automatic floor-to-ceiling curtains that revealed a stunning view of Manila Bay. I even managed to capture a beautiful time-lapse of the sunset.

The bathroom was equally impressive. It has two large sinks, a separate rain shower and bathtub, and a toilet with a bidet. All toiletries were from Acca Kappa, a luxury Italian brand.

The walk-in wardrobe included a full-body mirror, plenty of hangers, slippers, a hairdryer, and plush robes from Boca Terry, a brand also used in many 5-star hotels.

The mini bar and fridge were tucked inside a sleek cabinet with various snacks and drinks. We appreciated the free bottled water and were able to request more. That said, I do hope they consider switching to glass bottles or refillable options for a more eco-friendly approach.

My son also enjoyed browsing the coffee table books—something I didn’t expect but was happy to see.
Fitness Center
After settling in, we changed into our workout clothes and visited the gym. The main gym was quite busy, so we were directed to a smaller workout room, which turned out to be perfect for us. It’s typically used for yoga, Pilates, and CrossFit and includes a mini fridge stocked with wet towels, bottled water, and apples.

They also have a spa and salon, which we didn’t get to try—but maybe next time!.
Outdoor Pool
The outdoor pool is shared by both Bay Tower and Sky Tower guests. Bay Tower guests can access it directly, while those from Sky Tower need to go through the lobby, which can be a bit awkward if you’re already in swimwear.

It gets crowded in the afternoon (understandably—it’s summer!), so we went early the next morning and had the pool almost to ourselves.

Proper swimwear is required, and pool access starts at 7:00 AM, after cleaning and when the lifeguard arrives. You can order food here too. There’s a jacuzzi available for rent—though I remember that 10 years ago, it was first-come, first-served.
FRESH Restaurant for breakfast
Operating Hours
Breakfast | 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM
Lunch | 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM
Dinner | 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM
Breakfast at Fresh was a delightful culinary journey. We started with freshly brewed coffee and explored a wide array of Western, Korean, Chinese, and Filipino dishes. They even had gluten-free breads and local street food favorites like quail eggs and lumpia.

I especially loved the pastry selection—croissants, pain au chocolat, danishes—and the fresh fruit, salad bar, and juices. They even served ice cream for breakfast, which thrilled my son!

The Shoppes
If you’re into luxury brands, The Shoppes at Solaire is a dream. Open from 11 AM to 12 MN, it features high-end stores like Burberry, Bulgari, Cartier, Dior, Fendi, Gucci, Jo Malone, Louis Vuitton, Prada, and more.

Grand Ball Room & The Forum
I got a glimpse of the Grand Ballroom during an Easter family event. It’s massive—2,400 sqm—and can accommodate up to 1,500 guests. For more intimate gatherings, The Forum is available.

The Theatre
Solaire’s theatre seats 1,740 and boasts top-tier audio-visual technology for concerts, plays, and dance performances. I had the pleasure of watching Les Misérables here once—it was unforgettable.
