What will be Ren’s Halloween Costume this 2013?

First of all, I would like to inform my Bento followers (if there are any hahaha), that I don’t have a Bento creation for this week. Yes kahit isa wala 🙁 That is because, I was not feeling well the whole week and my creative juices are in a coma LOL.

Anyway, Halloween is only a few weeks from now so I am now thinking on which costume is perfect for Ren.

Ren is using the same Halloween costume for 2 years now (kawawang bata). So this year, I would like him to wear something different.

Since I made Ren’s Saudi Arabia costume for their school’s activity last time, I am liking the idea to just create one for him (well DIY costumes are a lot cheaper too)

Here are some of the costumes that I am considering. I based it on Ren’s physical look (cute, tall and chubby)

FRED FLINTSTONES – I found a mommy blogger who did it with her toddler (read the instruction HERE). All I need is an orange plain t-shirt to cut, a textile or a used orange towel.

MARIO of Super Mario Bros.– I just need a red long sleeve polo, a blue overall and a pair of white gloves. As for the hat, I saw a Mario Hat at Robinsons Ermita the last time we went there. Unfortunately, the cost is too expensive for me, I will check out Baclaran or Divisoria if I can find the same hat (or else gagawa na lang ako hahaha)

RUSSEL from The Movie UP– This is the coolest and cutest costume in this list so far. I know that Ren will be comfortable wearing this one. The materials are so easy to find. A khaki short and polo, a brown backpack, a sash and merit badges that we can just print and sew.
