2022 YEAR END REVIEW
Ang bilis talaga ng panahon, it seems like yesterday when I posted about my 2021 Year End Review here and now 2022 Year End Review na agad. If you are bored and want to read more, you can check out my previous year end reviews here – 2010, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 , 2019 and 2020
I am not sure if this is a good year or not. Well in terms of paid blogging projects, I don’t have much for this year, but we were able to set up new ventures to earn some money. The income is not that big since we only have a small market for now but it keeps us entertained and busy so ayos lang.
Without further ado, let me show you some of the highlights of my year per month.
JANUARY – We welcomed the year going to the hospital this year. I rushed Noel to the Emergency Room but we got denied since they said it is not serious. They have a lot of cases with Covid daw, so we better treat it with hot compress at home. We decided to go to his sister at Paco Manila instead of going home na lang muna. Good thing my sister is at the house to look out for Ren while we were out. It’s not a good introduction of the year 2022 and I was afraid that we will be ill the entire year, but thankfully we are okay up until the end of the year. I also got my booster shot this month, grabe lakas ng epekto sakin ng Astrazeneca ang sakit ng likod ko for 3 days. I also installed a new fog light and led light for my car this month.
FEBRUARY – I brought Ren to an eye clinic because he always scratch his eyes. We found out that it is too dry and that he needs to wear eyeglasses already. I’ve been active campaigning for VP Leni this month and it was my first time to join a caravan in one of the subdivisions near our place. We also went to Tagaytay this month to have some lunch.
MARCH – I attended a rally of VP Leni at Cavite and my heart was full of hope at that time. My beloved and supportive brother-in-law passed away. Biglaan lang, he even liked my post at least 6 hours ata before we found out he was gone. Life is really short kaya live your life to the fullest everyday.
I had a flat tire this month and thankfully I was already at the gasoline station. The crew helped me change it. We also had our National ID this month at our clubhouse.
APRIL – I decided to buy a new set of tires plus mags for my car this month. Para mas kampante ako sa daan kasi expired na din yung luma ko. Joined other Leni-Kiko volunteers to give away flyers and some stuff sa palengke sa Bacoor. Nakakapagod pero kapag may pinaglalaban kang alam mong tama, walang pagod pagod.
May – My boys joined me in attending a campaign rally at Cavite for VP Leni. It was their first time to come to one of the rallies and they were so happy they have experienced it.
I also attended the last rally at Ayala Ave at Makati with my sister this month. Unfortunately, the good governance we wish to have did not happen after the election. Most of my family members were devastated and I don’t know what will be the Philippine’s future with the new administration. I would be happy if proven wrong about them.
My son also had his first Holy Communion this month.
June – We had a family staycation at Twin Lakes Hotel in Tagaytay because it’s Ren vacation. Thanks to Klook we got a discounted voucher. I also had a lot of trips to Makati and Manila this month.
July – We finally had our teeth cleaned at a newly opened dental clinic near our area. After 2 years in the pandemic, nagkalakas loob na din.
Then we were able to go home to our province in Tarlac this month. We attended my aunt’s birthday together with my cousin from Singapore. It’s the first time I drove from Cavite to Tarlac and vice versa. The extended Skyway is so helpful, pwede na kahit mahal.
August – This month, my husband had his minor surgery done at the hospital nearby. I am so thankful that it was a success and his well being improved. We celebrated Ren’s birthday at TGIF this month also and he returned to online class with a lot of classmates this time.
September – We went to Pililla Rizal for a family reunion on my husband’s side. His cousin from the US went home and she is the one who sponsored it. Nilakasan ko lang loob ko mag drive kahit na may parating na bagyo at sa Rizal mismo ang daan.
I also launched my new small business called South Online Store
October – I attended Lazada’s event with their newest endorser Anne Curtis. It was raining that day and my sister and I just rode her motorcycle to and from Makati. I also visited the grave of my parents-in-law after 2 years.
November – We launched my husband and son’s new venture: Geek-O-MNL. Here they sell shirts, toys and other geeky stuff.
This month my mom also moved in to her new house nearby. It’s a foreclosed property that we got from the bank. We also attended my niece’s 18th birthday at Ambos Panederia at Bel Air Sta.Rosa.
December – My brother went home from abroad to celebrate the holidays with his family. We had a family get together at Amadeo.
Also, on my husband’s side of the family, we visited my sister-in-law’s house at Sta.Rosa to celebrate Christmas with them. This year is their first Christmas without the head of the family (my brother-in-law) and we know that they are still grieving. We miss him so much 🙁
For next year, I hope to get more blogging projects. I want to save for my son’s future, yung kahit sana hindi sya mag work may gagamitin syang pang sustento sa mga bills nya. I hope he will be able to conquer all his fears and anxieties. I hope I can sell more gold jewelries and groceries from South Online Store besides the blogging money that may come.
I will post a new New Year’s Resolution next. Stay safe and healthy everyone 🙂
