Our family staycation at Twin Lakes Hotel Tagaytay Overview
Finally, my son is on school vacation. I decided to book a staycation somewhere nice but still near the metro and I am familiar to drive with. Since we are from Cavite, our go to place for a short vacation is Tagaytay. I looked for a nice place and found out about this hotel with heated infinity pool. Although it’s hot nowadays, there are days kasi na bigla na lang uulan, we’ve stayed in other Tagaytay hotels many times and one of the features of the place that we barely use because of the weather is the pool. That’s why, this time I made sure that we will be able to enjoy it kasi meron naman palang hotel na may heated pool.
I booked at Twin Lakes Hotel Tagaytay using the Klook app. The tariff rate for our room is P12,000 but I got it for P6,500.
If you will book this same room on their website, you’ll get this for P7,700 (but with P800 dinner voucher and mini cake). But what I like about the Klook booking is that it is an open date voucher, you can reserve the place 3 days before the date you have chosen. Also, as a Klook customer, you’ll get to enjoy early checked-in at 12NN and late checked-out at 2PM (must be pre-arranged and subject to availability). We check-in at 2PM but we check-out early at 10am because I have a deadline to finish at home.
BTW, Twin Lakes Tagaytay is not located in Tagaytay anymore, the address is Laurel Batangas and so far this is the farthest area I drove and I am so proud of myself hahaha.

What I like about the room is that it is spacious. The bathroom is huge and they have a complete set of toiletries. I like that they have a hair dryer too which is not available in other hotels that we’ve been to. I was not able to use the bath tub since I enjoyed staying in the pool more and it’s fine.
They have a comfy bed and pillow, but we were not able to slept well because of the cold weather (even if we turned off the aircon), ang ginaw pa din. Hindi talaga kami sanay sa malamig na lugar (huhuhu paano na ang Japan, South Korea at Canada dream namin hahahaha).
The infinity heated pool is the bomb! we love it. It’s been a while since Noel joined us in swimming, ngayon lang ulit.
Kahit umulan ng 3PM, I saw some young kids at the pool pa din. Kahit gabi na nga meron paring nagswim. After eating our breakfast, I even went back to the pool the other day, sabay na ang paaraw at exercise. I also like that they have a life guard on the area na talagang nagbabantay ng mahigpit.
The place also offers a game area that is huge enough to play billiards or table games like chess. They also have a gym with a lot of equipment.
The staff are all friendly and accommodating, I forgot to bring a sanitary napkin and they brought me one upon request.
For our dinner, we chose to have it at the Twin Lakes Shopping Village near the Tagaytay-Nasugbu road. I was hesitant to drive because it’s already dark outside and the road is zigzag so I am glad to know that they offer a shuttle service every hour.
We ate at Aozora Japanese Cafe – Bistro per Ren’s request. There were a lot of diners since its Father’s Day at that time. It took 30 minutes for our order to arrive and I think we ate fast for us to be able to be at the meeting place of the shuttle, since we said to pick us up after just an hour (sana ginawa naming 2 hours para nakapag ikot pa kami). I also bought a mini cake from Mary Grace at the area which we ate using a chopstick inside our room hahaha.
The next day, we had our breakfast as early as 6am. As mentioned, we were not able to slept well, so we decided to go out the room early to just have our breakfast and roam around the area. The breakfast buffet was held on their huge function room so there was enough space for everyone. There were a lot of staff to attend to your request too (like refill of coffee or water etc). The viand are few though, but the food tastes good. My husband enjoyed the bread pudding, while Ren enjoyed the omelets. I like the hot mami and tinapa on the menu. But it would be nice if they have bacon too hehehe.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay here (better than our last stay at Taal Vista Hotel and Lucia’s Tagaytay). I highly recommend this place even though they don’t have a SMART TV hehehe. We might come back again someday.
…. and of course, hindi mawawala ang aming signature family picture in every staycation 🙂
