2020 Year End Review
Read my 2010, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 Year End Review kung trip mo magbasa.
I have a lot of plans for this year 2020, but because of the pandemic and unfortunate turn of events, everything got changed. But still there are a lot to be thankful for even in this trying times.
I’m putting them here to remind me of the good things that happened to us this year.
JANUARY
I attended Popeyes opening at SM Southmall. It was the first event I attended for this year. I’ve met Rhian Ramos and Miles Ocampo at the event.
Before Safeguard Micellar was introduced to the market, I was one of the selected reviewers of this product. I don’t have any post of it because we were told not to tell anybody about it that time. But I guess since it’s out, I can share it with you that I am one of the first who tried it.
Our Colgate project was released this month (2019 pa dapat ‘to pero na delay ng na delay).
This month Taal Volcano erupted, that’s why I wore N95 mask when going out.
FEBRUARY
I attended my second event for this year at Cubao. It was sponsored by Sun Life Insurance and for the 2nd time I’ve met Matteo Geudecilli.
This month, Ren was confined at Asian Hospital. It’s a good thing that this happened before the lockdown and the increase of number of Covid-19 patients in hospitals. This is the first time that one of our family members got confined and even though it is a small procedure, it is still frightening and made my heart pump fast. I hope that this will not happen again soon.
MARCH
During this month, the president placed the entire nation in ECQ or Enhanced Community Quarantine.
Before the month ended and that the ECQ looked like it will not be lifted soon, I decided to have a PANTAWID GUTOM PROJECT. This project is actually the highlight of this year. I never imagined that I will be able to raise funds (even without asking) and was able to help around 400 families with the help of those people who voluntarily gave financial help.
In our subdivision, I am one of the volunteers who organized a virtual palengke to help the neighbors who can’t go out to buy and stock up on food and at the same time help those who doesn’t have jobs to earn income.
APRIL
I had a campaign from Hygienix that I enjoyed doing, napapanahon din kasi.
This month is also the start of my campaign with Ariel Machine Expert and Promil.
MAY
I was one of the chosen bloggers for Downy Antibac campaign that started this month.
I was featured at UNTV News for my Pantawid Gutom Project.
JUNE
This month they change the quarantine from ECQ to MECQ and this was the month I was able to go out from Cavite to Landers Alabang. I was able to experience actual shopping again, but unfortunately the vibes outside is not the same anymore. Shopping personally scared me now unlike before where shopping makes me happy.
JULY
I had a project with Alaska this month. I was able to get my son’s Diploma from school too. It is unfortunate that he was not able to experience a graduation march because of the pandemic π
We also organized a community palengke in one of our subdivision’s clubhouse. This way people was able to personally check the items while still following safety protocols. This is better than going to palengke.
I had a project with Maggi Sinigang this month.
AUGUST
We celebrated my son’s 13th birthday at the house with no visitors. He had a Harry Potter themed party.
My Instant Pot arrived this month π and I had a project with Milo this month and Aoxing face masks.
I also started selling Virgin Coconut Oil in our subdivision to help strengthen not only our immunity but others too against Covid 19 virus.
SEPTEMBER
Besides the VCO, I also offered trolley and baskets in the neighborhood. I bought a gold earrings from my income in doing this.
My project with Bewell C vitamins started this month. And after how many months, I was able to film a video with my nephew and niece again.
We started our homeschooling journey this month too. We have chosen Homeschool Pilipinas for this year because they are affordable and they do not require a portfolio from parents and students. Almost everything is online.
OCTOBER
My Mekeni campaign started this month. I also had a project from Philcare.
I had a tooth extraction this month. I was sooo afraid after that because dental centers is one of the areas where you might get Covid19. You know, opening of the mouth, saliva etc…
I am thankful that I am okay after 2-3 weeks and did not get sick.
NOVEMBER
I won a cash prize from attending Paymaya’s Aguinaldo event and I am not used to winning in raffles so this is new to me.
This month we also celebrated Juggie, our dog’s 1st birthday. I bought him a cake and some treats.
Having our own car was not a priority before, but I decided to buy one because it’s not safe to commute anymore, our shuttle in the subdivision is too expensive and it is hard to book a GRAB ride.
I also want Ren and my senior mom to safely go out to see the outside world. Plus my husband also wants to visit his siblings.
Kaya naman, yes nakabili na po ako ng sasakyan (thank God for His blessings and generousity).
DECEMBER
This is a busy month, I got my student permit and started my actual driving lesson after. I enrolled for a 10-hours driving lesson. I’m still nervous driving but I believe that practice makes perfect.
I’m positive that I’ll be able to drive confidently soon. If other lady drivers can do it, I know I can do it too.
If I pass in the LTO exam, I will be able to get my non-pro drivers’ license next month, please wish me luck and pray for me π
—— that’s it… those are the things I want to share with you. I want to focus on the positive events because this year is really a tough one for all.
Yung pagiging healthy talaga ay isang malaking biyaya from God this year. Praise the Lord for His blessings!
I hope that the coming year 2021 will be a different one and that we will be able to go back to our normal lives. Wishing you all a prosperous one!
