Happy Water, Sad Water: A Story To Prepare Kids for Floods and The Aftermath
Read for Hope advocates the spread of hope and care for the environment through stories in disaster prone coastal communities in the Philippines. It is composed of a group of young professionals from Metro Manila who gave aid in the form of a mobile library and post-trauma relief to the students of affected areas from Typhoon Yolanda.
I had an opportunity to read the book with my son and we both liked and learned something from it. It is illustrated beautifully that I am sure your kids will understand easily. The pictures are well drawn and the words are well written.
The e-storybook aims to raise funds for the reconstruction of the library in Sulangan Central School, Guian, Eastern Samar on August 25-28, 2o16. The e-storybook is priced at P300, but any amount of donation will do.
