The first sight of having a baby!
I love the theme for mommy moments this week, it’s about “Newborn Days”.
(Here are some of Ren’s pictures at the hospital)
I regret not having been able to take pictures of me and Ren at the hospital. I was so conscious of my look back then, so I asked Noel not to take pictures of me. Now, I envied other mommies who have pictures of their newborn child even though they look haggard and teary eyed. I had a labor a month before my actual due date so I kept on praying that Ren will be healthy, and thank God he is!
I gave birth to him normally, I did not even asked for any anesthesia to be used because I want to feel the pain just like my mother felt when I was born (she gave birth to me just in our house with a midwife only!). The truth is that I didn’t feel any pain while pushing Ren to come out from me, I just felt it when the doctors were already stitching the cut that they did (very detailed huh!) . His cry was music to my ears, and the first thing I checked when he came out was his genitals. I had my ultrasound when I was 5 months pregnant, and the Doctor said that it was a boy so we bought blue colored items for him. But when I was about to give birth I asked myself what if the Doctor is wrong and it was a girl, her things will all be blue. So, when I saw that he was a boy I had a deep breath of contentment.
(the first time Dad, he is so proud of his little boy)

I love smelling Ren’s breath, touching his soft skin and hugging him. Oh, I love being a mommy.. it has it’s own ups and downs but it’s all worth it.

Oh I can feel your love to your son, the way your tell your story. I believe that all mothers are worried about their babies’ health during pregnancy. And we don’t mind the pain that we endure during labor and delivery as long as we see our baby come our healthy.
Oh by the way, with Alexandra (9.2), I had epidural, but by the time she’s ready to come out, it had wore out , since she was too high and when I was fully dilated, I can’t push yet, so we waited 3 hours, and she’s induced too, so if I waited 1 more week, she could’ve been 10 lbs, wahhhh!

Very sweet pictures. So sad din kasi wala pa akong digicam before kaya mostly mga reg. camera lang ang pics ni baby ko, malabo pa ang kinalabasan.
Ask ko lang sis, if you have made up your mind kung ilang EC and paypal amount are you going to give.
