Tobot Toys Review by Ren
Since last year, my son was bugging me and my husband to buy him a Tobot Toy. Tobot are transforming toys made in Korea. They are from Young Toys, the same company that created the TV series. These robot toys are designed after Kia motor vehicles.
We were planning to buy Ren one but we were waiting for the right time (a SALE haha). It was only last June when Ren got his first Tobot toy. We felt bad for not giving him one last December, so when we learned that there will be a Tobot Expo at SM Mall of Asia, we decided to go and get him one (the smile on his face was totally priceless). We got him Tobot Y medium (the original version).
TOBOT Y is the second hero of the TV animation series, Tobot. TOBOT Y is Kory’s guardian and transforms into a robot from a car, Forte-Koup (Kia Motors). The sleek-looking design represents his speed and wit. His main weapon, a laser gun, is also included. He measures 6 inches tall.
It is so much fun to operate TOBOT Y. It’s designed to perform the same process of transformation as the animation which begins by inserting Tokey in the car to complete the change into a robot. You can change its pose in many different ways. It also has strong joint parts for a firm fix and 4 cards to play with. It’s so much fun to own a toy car/robot that is also an actual car on the road! And for his birthday last August and for winning the Best in Science Expo Award for 1st Quarter of SY2015, we bought him another Tobot last Sunday – Tobot Z (the original version).
