Mommy Bloggers: On homeschooling, keeping their sanity and health
It’s mommy bloggers’ round up once again. In this post, you will see a compilation of the selected posts of participating mommies that will help you in parenting, mommy duties, home and living and relationships.
Lets start with my post about Homeschool lesson plan for reading, language and writing. I shared here some of the things my son and I do to improve his reading comprehension, writing skills and expand his vocabulary. At times, I worried about our schedule. Flexible schedule is considered to be an advantage in homeschooling, however, it can also be a disadvantage. Mommy Jem shared to us some tips on how to make some Fun Study Habits at Home, and that includes separating the time to study and the time to play. I agree with her that when it’s study time, mommies should act like a teacher so that the kids should learn how to listen to you.
Homeschooling is hard, that is why I can’t blame parents who cannot commit to it. Even I don’t know if I am doing the right thing for my son also, I just want the best for him. I can relate to Mommy Sam’s post about How mom’s should keep our sanity intact. I agree with all the points she have said on her article, especially about taking a break and don’t stress over smal stuffs. Mommies, we are only human and we also need to have a break and spent some “me” time. Doing this will make us more productive and efficient.
On the other hand, the changing weather can make us all vulnerable to sickness. Mommy Pehpot made a Checklist on what to do during the rainy seasons. She enumerated the things we need to remember and keep in mind to be safe and healthy on this kind of weather. She and Mommy Nicquee shared that to Prevent Dengue Fever, we shoud use insect repellents especially during the day. Making the kids wear clothes that will hide most of their skin is also advisable.
Hope you can visit these sites and it would be great if you can leave some loving comments or suggestions of your own.
