Mommy Bloggers: On active kids at Run United 2 and about schooling
Hooray for July. Finally I am back with my old self again and I am done planning for my brother’s wedding. I thought that it was impossible to plan a wedding for a very limited time (only a month) and a limited budget but suprisingly, I did it. Please give me a round of applause hahaha.
Anyway, now that I don’t have a lot of things to do and organize anymore, I hope that I can update this blog more often. I will start with the mommy round up.
Mommy Pehpot and yours truly joined the Run United 2 last June 17. It was a great event. She brought all her 4 kids to join the Ceelin 500m dash while I brought my niece with me to run for the 3km dash (read my blog post HERE). We alsojoined the Run United 1 and this time we both noticed that it’s nice that Unilab and Runrio added a Day Care Center where moms and dads can leave their kids while they joined their respective and chosen dash event.
I am happy that we got some time to join this fun run because it is the time of the year that mommies and kids are busy at school. Mommy Pehpot wrote a very informative article on how we can help our kids improve their school grades. I agree with her about knowing what kind of learner your child or children is. They can be: visual learners, auditory learners, and kinesthetic learners. To be able to teach them well, we should know what kind of learners they are. Visit her blog to learn more about this topic.
Mommy Jem also shared some Helpful Tips on how we can prepare our kids for Nursery. She had mentioned how important is eating breakfast before going to school. I agree that a good and nutritious breakfast will help kids to be more alert and not cranky. Check out her post to know more.
