Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory Molito Alabang Overview

Chocolate is my stress reliever, my happy chums whenever I feel sad, down and blah. That’s why when I heard that Rocky Mountain will open a branch near us I got excited, I gladly received the invite to their grand opening.

I prepared myself to enter a chocolate heaven while walking to the venue.

The legendary Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, brought in by Royal Bear Confectioneries Inc., finally opens a shop in the south, Molito Alabang.

This branch will be the second café by Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory Philippines. It will continue to serve the signature beverages along with its new offerings which are exclusive to this first store in the south.

The new offerings include:

Signature Triple Chocolate Soft Serve– Decadent soft serve made with real chocolate on a crunchy chocolate waffle cone

Signature Chocolate Shots (available on weekends only)– Made with rich Rocky Mountain chocolate then filled with light cream and strawberry

Chocolate Lava Cake and Brownie Ala Mode, both served with vanilla ice cream and a dollop of chocolate

Sandwiches and Pies

Puff pastries with sausage, chicken curry, chili con carne, or tuna toasted to perfection

During the event, we were given a chance to make our version of hand-dipped caramel apples.

This is my creation.

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is all about the experience, from the distinct chocolate-filled window display to the cozy factory theme freshly dipped bananas and cheesecakes, and larger-than-life chocolates.

Just a little background, perhaps this premium on experience and quality stems from the shop’s small town origins in Durango, Colorado, then a quaint Victorian-era town set amidst a backdrop of majestic, snow-capped mountains, where people were defined by their commitment to good craft and quality.

When founder Frank Crail moved his family from congested Southern California, he set up a 53,000 square foot chocolate factory located on the town’s outskirts. From that store, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory expanded to hundreds of chocolate shops throughout the United States, Canada, the Middle East, and now, Asia-Pacific.

From 1981 until today, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory has built a loyal international following based on its high quality products. People around the world love Rocky Mountain because of its wide array of products to choose from. Its stores offer everything from caramel apples, to truffles, frozen dipped bananas and even chocolate covered potato chips!
