How Housemoms Can Still Achieve that Desired Waistline?
Being a stay-at-home mom has its ups and downs, but all in all, it’s actually quite a fulfilling way of life. You get to give all your attention to your children and your spouse, and you ensure that the home that you live in is well taken care of. But the only issue here is that the day can get really crowded with chores, as well as cooking and helping kids homework, it’s really a never ending story. So much so, that many of us are guilty of neglecting our bodies. And as year after year passes, especially after you’ve had a baby or two, that waistline begins to look more and more worrisome. The good news is, it’s not the end of the road! There are ways you can salvage your body and get that waistline you always wanted.
EAT THE RIGHT FOOD
The first step you need to take is to make some changes to the way you eat, and of course, the food that you eat. It needs to be a balanced diet. And you’ll find that this will be great for your whole family as well. Keep track of your calorie intake so that you know you are doing it right. You should get yourself a health app that includes an online calorie counter because this will make your life much easier, and you’ll be able to keep a record of exactly what you’re eating. You can go to a nutritionist initially, so that you understand how foods work and which ones would be best for losing the weight off your waistline. Once that’s done, make sure you stick to your food plan and balance it out by treating yourself to a cheat day once a week.
FIX THE ROUTINE
If you want to get that waistline, then you are going to have to let go of the bad habits that are stopping you. If you are used to waking up every morning and having coffee, try to switch it up by having green tea instead. It has amazing antioxidants and will help your system become much more efficient. After your cup of green tea, make sure that once everyone is out of the house, you go for a walk or a jog to sweat it out. This will do wonders for you, and you’ll feel so much better as well. Also, try to stop snacking in the middle of the night, and get some decent sleep in. When your body gets used to healthy routines, it becomes much easier for you to shed off the weight because you are less lethargic.
GET SOME EXERCISE IN
You may think that you don’t have time, but there is always time for simple exercises that will go a long way in helping you get that waistline you’ve always wanted. If you don’t have 1-hour to spare to go to a class, then you can always do it at home after all the chores. Yoga, squats, sit-ups, and planks are all exercises that you can spread out during the day and get done on a daily basis.
There you have it! All you need to do is commit to a bit of change, and you will certainly have that waistline in no time. A bit of yoga mixed in with a bit of exercise and a change in lifestyle will not only make you look good, but you’ll feel amazing too.

From a waistline of 24-26″ when I don’t have a son to 32″ when I became a mom. 🙁 I was just so sad this afternoon, on Christmas day, when I saw my old clothes when I decluttered. Thank you for this Mommy, wrote down your tips.
