Reach for your dreams today with TALA

I believe that a dream can’t turn to reality if you don’t work for it. It takes sweat, determination, hard work and a little help from people—and in the case of today’s modern world, apps—around you. 

I understand that most young people do not necessarily have enough resources for luxuries like travelling, a brand-new car, a nice new house, etc. That’s why it’s very important that one saves for them. Unfortunately, though, sometimes, we see ourselves caught in situations that make us lose sight of our goal. The ending? We spend whatever savings we have and…basically go back to zero.

Most people get caught in this cycle for years. And they’d only realize it when they’re already old and grey. Sure, at this point, they may already have enough to blow to fulfill their #travelgoals, but what they’ve already lost is the energy and drive to explore.

That’s why I always tell people: the easiest and fastest way to fulfill your dreams is to have a concrete and feasible plan you can stick. Identify your goal, and based on how much you make and spend, try to come up with timetable that will allow you get there fast.

One of the things I regret not being able to do during my #youngandfree days, was travelling! I wasn’t able to because I did not have the funds to do so. And yes, borrowing money from friends or relatives for the sake of doing this one wish did cross my mind…but let’s face it—people will judge you when you try to take a loan just because you want to see more of the world. And we don’t want that negativity in our lives.   

Now, what I’m about to say may not be the most popular opinion, but in my opinion, there’s nothing wrong with borrowing money so you can work on your dreams—regardless of what it is. If you know deep in your heart that you have the capacity and willingness to pay it later on, go ahead! Take that loan. Do it while you’re still young. The second one is a digital painting of section where everyone can clearly put their aspirations into words. This is a personal favorite!

The last one activity is another photo-taking opportunity, but with this one, the photo gets printed to a luggage tag that you get to take home with you for free—so you be reminded of the #TalaDreams experience anywhere you go.

My co-mommy blogger Pehpot was there and showed me all the pictures she took with her son, Marius. They were all so cute!
