I always encourage Ren to pretend play and draw whatever he wants. I believe that using the imagination at an early age has a lot of benefits. Imagination for me is an amazing gift of childhood.
Ren loves to read books and watch cartoons. Sometimes when he doesn’t have anything to do and gets bored, he gets some of his toys and do some pretend play. I like it because it build his language and vocabulary skills. He does a lot of talking when he is doing pretend play.
At the house, to encourage him to do pretend play, we bought him toys like Lego and blocks which he can pile and build to whatever he wants. We also give him books to read to enhance his imagination. To encourage him to draw we always give him some scratch papers, a pencil and colors. At school, even though he is now a grade schooler his teacher still encourages the kids to draw whatever comes out of their mind. His exams paper always have drawings at the back. That is okay with me as long as I know that he finishes his exams first and checked it twice.
What he always draws is something he has watched or a character from a book that he read.
There are times that he puts together two characters and build his own unique character. It looks weird but it looks cute and funny too.
Say Hi to his newest creation… the name is RAMS!
Sometimes he asked us to buy him something that looks like what he drew but jeez how can we buy something that doesn’t even exist in any toy store. That is why I am so thrilled to find out about the Nesfruta Make it Real na Real promo.

He has a really creative mind and has talent. This should be nurtured early on for him to develop his skill.
