Family Halloween Bonding at Nickelodeon Mutant Mayhem
Last Friday October 30, our family was invited to go to the Nickelodeon’s Mutant Mayhem Halloween event at SMX in Pasay.
One day before the said event, we still didn’t have a costume for Ren to wear. At first, we were thinking of just letting him wear the Spongebob costume that he wore at his school’s halloween party but unfortunately we don’t have a ride going to the event and the costume is quite bulky.
Noel had an idea that since the theme is about “mutants”, he decided to make Ren look like a mutant by creating 2 additional arms using gloves, socks and foams! Ren also has a black leotard so this is what the finished product looked like.
When we arrived at the venue, there were already a lot of people inside. Spongebob and the gang were already performing at the stage. Ren can’t even take his eyes off from them, that is why when I asked him to take a picture with Kezia (the person who invited us), this was what he looked like. Thank you Kezia and Stratworks for the invite 🙂
I can say that the event is more organized this year.
There were lines in most of the booths but it was not that long, and they were hosting some fun games at the stage where kids brought home lots of exciting prizes.
Ren fell in line at the Toy Kingdom booth were I think gave out the most number of treats compared to the other booths.
While Noel and Ren were falling in line, I saw this cute little girl staring at Ren. Maybe she was imaging why this boy has four arms.
The booth that really caught Ren’s attention was the Tobots toy area.
He really likes this new toy from Korea so much. It looks like a Tranformers toy but with only few designs as of now and it looks like the toy design is actually quite durable. He is even saving P20 per day to be able to buy one soon hahaha.
The next area that we went was the Hapon Hangout area, Ren loves dancing so he also had fun with the other kids there.
We met these 2 adorable girls too. I invited them to the event and I am glad that they were able to come. They are the daughters of my co-mommy blogger Irish of Entrepremom.com who is currently at Cebu.
See you next year for another fun and exciting Halloween party. Thank you so much for inviting us.
