Ren’s 1st week at school

Ren is undergoing a school set up again this year.  For his first week, we are adjusting big time in waking up early. We were used to sleeping late at night because of online works, and because of that, we wake up late in the morning too.

Now, we need to sleep as early as 8PM to be able to wake up as early as 6AM.  I am glad that even though I know it’s hard for Ren to wake up early every day, he still does it without making it hard for me.  Yes he whines but that is just for a minute or two, when he finally see the food on the table, he stops and eat his breakfast.

At school, they allow the parents to stay outside the classroom and be able to see them for 3 days.  I had the chance to see how Ren behaves in class.

He follows the teachers naman, but there are times that he loses his attention and do his thing which is running around the room.  Pero di lang naman sya, lahat ng boys ganun ginagawa, so I think it’s their thing talaga.

I usually call his attention and he complies naman.  He doesn’t sing along with his classmates when they are asked to sing but when he goes home he knows the song naman.

His teachers told me that what they like about him is that even though he is malikot, when he is asked to pay attention he follows them naman daw.  As of now, they don’t have assignments yet, so when we go home he usually plays around.  I just let him relax and do his thing since I know when it’s time to get serious he might not have time to do what he likes the most.

I know the school year is just getting started and he will encounter more challenges along the way.  I believe he can do it, me and hubby will not get tired in supporting him.
