Creative Education for Life Learning (CELL) School Cavite
POSTED: JUNE 2013
Creative Education for Life Learning (CELL) is a progressive school at Bahayang Pag-Asa in Bacoor Cavite.
The school’s interior and exterior design is very secure and very child friendly.
Here is a panoramic view of the 2 classrooms
This is the play area, and they have a mini zoo too.
This is the parents lounging area
The washing area and the comfort room
They offer a mainstreaming program or Special Needs Inclusion Program BUT they are not a SPED school. They accept all kids as long as the parents are cooperative and the kids are willing and capable to be in a regular class set-up. BUT you need to provide all the necessary interventions like therapy and shadow teacher if needed.
Here are the requirements for application for preschool:
- Copy of birth certificate
- Copy of Immunization Record
- Two 2×2 ID picture of the child
- Accomplished Application forms (Data File & Medical History Sheet)
- Copy of Marriage contract of Parents
For Mainstreaming/Inclusion Program:
- Latest Assessment from Developmental Pediatrician/Psychologist/Therapist
- Other pertinent medical records
- Duly signed Mainstreaming Policy/Contract
UPDATE: MAY 2014
Ren is still enrolled with CELL for the school year 2014-2015. There are lots of changes that happened at the school when I visited them a few weeks ago. The office was changed, the play area has a new mural and what surprised me the most was the new classroom. It was divided into two.
Since the weather is too hot when I went there, I felt that the classroom was hot.
I forgot to mention here before that they have non air-conditioned classrooms, so with this smaller classroom, I don’t know what the kids will feel when classes starts.
I know this is a small concern of what the school can offer, but I feel responsible to share it with you.
Another thing, they are now offering a referral discount. Wherein existing students will get a P500.00 discount on their tuition fees for every new students that will enroll. Just to let you know, I did not earn a single cent from posting this article and even if you tell them that you learned about them through this site it will still not be credited.
The referral discount only applies if I know you personally and/or I told them about you before you go there and inquire.
I just want to make it clear that I made this article without getting any compensation in return, I did not. I even encouraged you that if you have some problems with the school, you can comment on this page. it is open for discussion and sharing.
But also, I encourage you to talk first to the administration about it because I know they can answer all your dilemmas (if there is any) directly.
UPDATE: OCTOBER 2015
The school is now air-conditioned. There are already around 100 students of CELL this year 2015 (from starter to grade schooler). We are still enrolled here this school year. My son is now in Grade 2.
I updated this post to inform you (so that you won’t be surprised) that the preschool curriculum is very different from grade school. If you decide to enroll your kid/s for grade school here prepare yourself for Science Expos every quarter (this is reporting in front of the class), seatworks every day (or at least thrice a week) and assignments.
If you want your kid/s to be exposed in public speaking and increase their confidence in front of other people then this is a plus point. But, at the same time this can be overwhelming for them and you too. Usually the Science Expo presentation is after the quarter’s final exams.
Final Exams plus Science Expo plus other projects in various subjects will challenge your time management.
BTW, Ren is doing great in reporting. He is now used to stand and talk in front of the class and answer his teachers questions. But there are times he doesn’t want to do it (pagod na!)
So, I’m warning you, be prepared!
Here is an example of how Science Expo is presented – http://mommylevy.com/2016/02/science-expo-organic-farming-report.html
LAST UPDATE:
For school year 2017-2018, Ren wanted to change school, so my husband and I decided to transfer him to a school with highschool and one that is more established in handling kids with special needs. Good luck to all students and parents in this school.

Hi,
Thank you for your blog. I was able to enroll my child at CELL. Super late na kami nagenroll first day niya sa school today kasi I was looking forward na makakapasok sya sa isang school na august ang start ng classes pero grabe when I learned about the amount of money they want me to pay gusto ko mahimatay. Nung nakita ko ang CELL nabuhayan ako ng pag asa. So salamat ulit! God Bless!
Mommy Levy says
anong level ng child mo?
Frustrated Mom says
Let me guess Mommy Angelica – is it AJV? 🙂

Hi. Mommy levy, ask ko lng if my tuition fees list kayo, like how much is the misc, boooks uniforms and others,,nkita ko kc na very active sa activities ang school,,ngpunta n din ako pero di ko kasi ksma son ko,so di rin nila ako inacess about tuition fees and di rin ako natour s school..my son will be grade one this june,,mga mgkano kya ang tuition fee ng grade school,at monthly fee, dahil monthly sana ang balak kong mode of payment,,thank u po,,
Mommy Levy says
as much as possible do not choose the monthly payment kasi ang laki ng difference sa amount ng cash basis, mga around P15K ang dagdag. For books around 3K, uniforms around 800/set ata (not sure if may increase). Good luck!
AnoNimo says
It’ s not as i expected. Masyadong maraming sped students sa isang classroom. Then di naman ma control ng teachers nag kakasakitan na..masyadong maraming activities..not worth your money.
Mommy Levy says
during our time, may limit ang number of special students inside the classroom plus they require shadow teachers to guide the special kid lalo na if nakakasakit or impulsive.
AnoNimo says
During your time??? You mean your son is no longer enrolled at Cell?
Mommy Levy says
what I meant by “during our time”, yun ang rules na sinabi sa’kin na may limit ang number ng batang i-aaccept sa mainstreaming program per class. Plus if ang bata ay kailangan ng shadow teacher, ito ay dapat i-provide ng parents. We’re still enrolled here (from Kinder2 to Grade3),and so far hindi din naman nadadagdagan ang klase nila ng another special kid. I think you’re new at school and I’m guessing that your kid is in preschool. I suggest if you have concerns, you should make an appointment with the teachers, principal or director and raise it to them directly.
Ressa says
Hi mommy i wasnt able to see the answer to my question at ang pinaka mahalaga. How much po kaya ang tuition fee?
Mommy Levy says
of this school? I posted it on my article 🙂 30-48K it depends if you pay in cash and what level is your kid.
Corey Guevarra says
Hi there! Does this school has an EOP (English Only Policy) Rules for all the students especially from Nursery? Hope to hear from you soon.. and all rooms are air conditioned or not? Thanks in advacne
Mommy Levy says
Hi Corey,
All rooms are airconditioned. My son can speak English well even before he went to this school. although he does have a hard time speaking in Tagalog compared to some kids at school. The school doesn’t have that kind of policy because they allow the kids to express themselves in whatever language they want to. But of course if it’s English subject they are expected to talk in English, if the kids find it hard, the teacher helps them to make a sentence. That’s the same in Filipino or Hekasi. Some words are translated for the English speaking students.
I hope I was able to answer your question.
regards,
Myra says
Hi. I just want to comment here. My son is now in Grade 5 studying at dela Salle zobel. And he always tells ME that he is the only onein his class who can speak fluently in tagalog and english. my advice parents is to speak to your children the first language at home and that is filipino. english can be taught atschool. dlsz is particular on being good in speaking both in tagalog and english. nakakhiya Daw kc n nandito tayo s bansa natin pero mga anak natin hirap s tagalog. they require to enroll your kids in a filipino tutorial lesson if mababa grades s filipino subject.

meron din po ba kayo school na ganito sa dasma?
Mommy Levy says
Hi Arlene, as of now wala pang branch ng C.E.L.L. sa Dasma. If you are asking kung meron pang progressive school sa Dasma, that I don’t know kasi medyo malayo na sya sa lugar namin and di ko pa nachi check mga schools don.
