Our Popsicle Sticks Picture Frame
When I attended an event of the launching of Mead Johnson Best starts with Dad campaign, I saw a nice piece of art on our center table- a Popsicle Sticks Picture Frame. My co- bloggers also liked it and they even asked the PR people if they could take it home, but unfortunately the PR said no.
Since it looks easy to do, after the event, I went to the National Bookstore and bought some stuff that I need to make my own picture frame made out of Popsicle sticks. According to the PR, they used Popsicle sticks from Art Attack to create this piece of art.
Here is my finish frame:
Procedure:
1. For the base, glue 3 pieces of Popsicle sticks together. I am making a bigger frame since my picture is 5R sized, so I need to combine 2 sets with 3 pieces Popsicle sticks together.
2. Glue 2 pieces of popsicle sticks together and put it in in the middle of the base.
3. Now create the border of your picture frame. Make sure that the size fits your picture.
4. Combine the picture frame to its base
That’s it!
Here is the sample product from the event, in case you find mine unattractive LOL. You can add decorations like the button on top. This is a 3R picture so it is smaller than what I did.
Okay I know I need more practice. But, I think this is a nice giveaway for birthdays or any special occasions, isn’t it? It is also a fun bonding activity to do with your kids.
