My first batch of students
Last Friday, I said goodbye to my two first students (only one is still left for me to teach)
I will never forget these girls. I thank their mothers for believing and trusting me even though I don’t have an Education degree or prior experience (except that I homeschooled Ren for 1 year) to show them I am capable of teaching their kids.
I am glad though, that they were impressed with what their kids learned from me. I know because they told me that I was able to surpass their expectations. They said that they asked me to teach their kids only reading, but I have also thought them arts and crafts and even math.
On our last day, we played BINGO (using CVC words), Identifying colors and number words and coloring this wonderful mardi gras masks.

The girls enjoyed the activity so much and I love it also!
I will really miss these girls.
I hope to see them again next summer.
Good job! I also want to become a teacher without the teaching degree. You are an inspiration.
well done Mommy Levy teaching kids this summer, good decision of the parents of these kids to allow their children to have this kind of summer class..:-)

pinterest is my best friend. Hindi kasi pwedeng puro reading lang for 2 hours straight…. mabo bored ang bata at di magiging productive ang araw kaya dapat may kahalong laro π
