Movie Review: G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra

My husband really loved G.I. Joe but he failed to watched it at the theater because of me. I was not interested in the movie because I don’t know anything about it. When we were at the mall, he asked me if we can watch it, I told him that maybe some other time until the time it is no longer available at cinemas, and he didn’t had the chance to see it. I’m so sorry dear for my stupidity, I should have just let you watched it. Well, the good news was he got a copy of the said movie and was very excited to watch it last night. He is very young at heart and I can see it in his eyes while the film is rolling.

I can’t identify every character because I really don’t know anything about them, all I can say is that the movie was very good. I loved all the action scenes and the high tech gadgetry of both teams (G.I. Joe’s and Cobra). I love the twist near the end, when Rex the brother of Baroness became the Commander Head of Cobra (yeah, I remembered their names.. yahoo!). Even my 2 year old son enjoyed it, (yet it’s too early to tell if he gets that character from his Dad).

After watching it, and we are already in bed my husband still can’t get enough of the movie. He’s telling me that some characters were not included in the movie like Flint, Lady Jane etc. I am clueless, who the hell are these people. Maybe we have to watch the sequel so that I would know them.

By the way, I love Snake Eyes (the silent Ninja) he is a great fighter. I hope he will talk on the next movie, but he should brush his teeth first because there’s a lot of bacteria in there for not talking for so long. Hahahaha!
