Savoy Hotel Boracay Newcoast Overview
Our first trip to Boracay was unforgettable, thanks to our stay at Savoy Hotel Boracay NewCoast. This place was recommended to us by my fellow blogger friend, Jeman of Orange Magazine.
From the moment we arrived, the hotel team (Sir Jesse, Ms. Mye, Helen, Lorraine and Chad) made us feel like celebrities, welcoming us with refreshing buko drinks and charming shell necklaces for each family member. This thoughtful touch set the tone for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

Accommodations
We stayed in a Premium Deluxe Room with a queen bed and an extra bed, which was perfect for our family of three. The room offered stunning views of the beach and pool, creating a serene atmosphere to unwind.
When we entered our room, we were greeted by a personalized welcome message on the TV and a selection of snacks on the table, which we happily enjoyed while settling in.
They supplied bottled water, which we could easily refill at the water station conveniently located in the hallway.
We also adored the charming towel decorations thoughtfully placed on our bed. The room was clean and spacious, and I especially appreciated that they provided two pillows per guest (a total of six). Each pillow was soft and fluffy, adding an extra level of comfort to our sleep.
The room has a Wi-Fi, making it convenient if you need to work during your stay. For entertainment, there’s access to international cable channels, and if you prefer to relax indoors, an in-room dining service is also available.
Our room was equipped with complete amenities, and the spacious bathroom was a bonus. The amenities provided included toothbrushes, hand soap, cotton, ear buds, a razor, lotion, body wash, shampoo, and, to our delight, even conditioner—something not all hotels offer.
However, the lack of a bathtub or a proper shower enclosure meant the bathroom floor could get quite wet—a minor detail that could be improved for added comfort.
They cleaned our room the next day and we were surprised that they made another cute towel design to welcome us back and a complimentary snack on the table.
They also have an iron and board that you can borrow for 30 minutes if you need one.
Convenient Transfers
One of the standout perks of Savoy Hotel is their FREE shuttle service to and from D’Mall, the main beach area. The service follows a schedule, making it easy to explore Boracay’s bustling center while enjoying the peace and privacy of NewCoast.
After freshening up, we headed to Diniwid Beach to catch the sunset. Taking advantage of the hotel’s free transfer, we asked the driver to drop us off at CityMall, where we hopped on an e-trike to reach Diniwid Beach.
We strolled from Diniwid Beach to Station 2 and arranged our return trip to the hotel. The designated waiting area for the free shuttle was conveniently located near Jollibee by D’Mall.
The hotel also provides airport transfer services for a seamless journey between the airport and the hotel. Our driver, Arnold, along with Jemar (if I heard the name correctly), made the trip enjoyable by sharing valuable insights, perfect for first-timers like us. Being a Boracay native, Arnold also gave us a brief but fascinating background of the island.
Dining
DAY 1: DINNER
We enjoyed dinner at Savoy Café, indulging in a delightful selection of dishes. For drinks, we tried Sampaguita & Lychee (P220), paired with Bistek Tagalog (P600), Sampaguita Rubbed Pork Barbeque (P550), and Chicken Inasal (price unlisted). For dessert we had this Tablea cheesecake (if I remembered it correctly).
To our surprise, these dishes turned out to be the highlight of our culinary experience in Boracay. Initially, we anticipated a typical take on classic Filipino dishes, but Savoy’s unique execution left us in awe. These meals are now among the top reasons we’ll fondly remember both the hotel and our trip.
My husband, who rarely enjoys red meat, was thoroughly impressed by the Bistek Tagalog. The perfectly cooked cauliflower and potatoes accompanying the dish, combined with its flavorful sauce, created a standout meal. The unexpected addition of mung beans added a surprising and unique twist.
The use of Sampaguita as a key ingredient was another delightful surprise. This touch not only enhanced the flavors but also gave the dining experience a distinct and memorable identity. As the Philippines’ national flower, Sampaguita symbolizes Savoy’s commitment to creating meaningful stays, leaving a lasting impression and fostering strong connections with its guests.
My son (who is taking a Culinary and Tourism strand) was so thrilled when Sir Jesse and Sir Mhel called the chef and staff to meet us. He was so excited that he asked if he could shake their hands.
The hotel’s free breakfast buffet was a delightful treat during our 3-days, 2-nights stay. Each morning featured a variety of dishes, ensuring we started our days with hearty and satisfying meals.
DAY 2: BREAKFAST
We had arrozcaldo, bacon, German sausages, tuna maki, tocino, fish nuggets, different kind of breads (my husband loved the pudding), omelette (that we love also) and my favorite steamed okra with sweet bagoong plus cappucino and chocolate drinks.
Sir Mhel, Sir Richard, Maddie, and the entire team consistently ensured we were well taken care of during our breakfast.
DAY 3: BREAKFAST
I had egg drop soup, my favorite steamed okra with bagoong (glad they still have this ’cause everything else is different). I also had chicken curry, breakfast sausages and fish fillet with tartar sauce. Afterwards, I tried the red ensaymada, biko, mini pancake and choco butternut.
Newcoast Beach
Newcoast Boracay offers the most stunning sunrise with a view of the Keyhole formation as the background. We woke up early the next day to catch it. Since the area is mostly for guests and condo owners, and being a private location, there were only a few people on the beach, making it perfect for photos without anyone in the background.
It’s also ideal for introverts like my husband, or anyone who prefers to avoid too many eyes while in their swimsuit.
The beach is just a 5-8 minutes walk from Savoy Hotel, which also serves as a nice warm-up for your exercise routine.
If you don’t like to walk, you could ride the Comet – a Fully Electric Mini Bus. This could also bring you to the Keyhole and the best thing is that it’s FREE!!!
For more information about this ride, check this post – https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=267253385839277
Although the sand isn’t as fine and white as the main beach, it still looks great in person and in photos.
There are plenty of beach beds around, perfect for lounging. Since we were there early, the nearby stores were still closed, but next time, I’d love to explore and try what they have to offer next time.
The beach at Boracay Newcoast is an ideal location for intimate events like proposals, weddings, and similar occasions. It also makes a great venue for corporate events. Be sure to book in advance so the team can make the necessary preparations.
The Pool

If you prefer to relax at the hotel or want to avoid the salty beach water, Savoy’s pool is the perfect spot. It features a kid-friendly area and a jacuzzi (which I loved) for those who enjoy warm water.
There’s also a bar nearby if you’re in the mood for a drink, or you can simply order food from the adjacent Savoy Cafe.
For those looking for a livelier atmosphere, there’s a party pool typically reserved for large groups who want to celebrate and enjoy a fun night. Unfortunately, it was only available on the day we were about to leave, so we’ll definitely look forward to experiencing it on our next visit.

Fitness Area
Savoy Hotel Boracay also features a fitness area for those who want more than just running, walking, or swimming to complete their workout routine. The gym is equipped with a variety of machines and equipment to keep you active. Just be sure to wear your sports attire when using the facilities.

Spa
After a long day, a hot shower followed by a relaxing spa treatment is the perfect way to unwind and ensure a good night’s sleep. While we didn’t have the chance to experience it ourselves, I wanted to mention that they do offer a spa service on-site for guests to enjoy.

Overall Experience
Savoy Hotel Boracay exceeded our expectations in many ways. The warm welcome, picturesque views, and thoughtful amenities made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. While a few minor improvements could enhance the experience, such as addressing the shower area design, these did not detract significantly from our overall satisfaction. It is not always the place or attractions that make tourist wants to visit a place, it is the people.
For first-time visitors like us, Savoy Hotel Boracay NewCoast is an excellent choice for a relaxing, family-friendly stay. We left with wonderful memories and look forward to returning someday!
