The ASSOCIATION OF FILIPINO FRANCHISER, INC. (AFFI) is pleased to announce the staging of the 8TH FILIPINO FRANCHISE SHOW on Sept. 4-6, 2009, 11am to 7pm. With Trade Advertising Exhibitions and Conventions International, Inc. (TRADECON, INC.) as the event manager, this annual trade exposition will be held at the WORLD TRADE CENTER METRO MANILA, Philippines.

This year’s theme – FRANCHISING OPPORTUNITIES RISING ABOVE THE CRISIS has been conceptualized as an answer to the positive side of the global financial crisis. The three day exhibition is expected to be bigger than the past years. Successful franchisers along with new and promising brands from the food, retail and service industries shall take center stage once again. Products, services, systems and technologies from the 80-strong AFFI membership shall be on display for the benefit of the public particularly those on the lookout for business opportunities.

I am very excited with this event, since we are really planning to have our own franchise business early next year, but we are still undecided what kind of franchise we are going to have.
