New born baby was thrown by a teen mom into creek

This is really a sad news, I’ve read about this at ABSCBN news a while ago. I’ve assumed that the suspected mother was about 14 to 16 years old, but instead, she was already 19 years old. If she is not mentally-illed, I can say that she is already matured. I know some relatives and some friends who already became a mother at the age of 16 but they have taken the responsibility to take care of their babies. I am really very proud of them for doing that, although sometimes I believe that the child’s future would be better if she was born by a mother who is emotionally and financially ready.

Anyway, the 19 year old mother has thrown her baby into a creek in Talisay City, Negros Occidental province. The residents near the creek were the one who discovered the baby’s body. The umbilical cord was still attached to the body of the child and it was still covered with blood.

The Dept. of Social Welfare said that the child was thrown into the creek when it was still alive and the body probably bumped into the rocks which caused a large wound on his forehead.

Poor baby, she haven’t seen the wonderful things this world has to offer.

I hope the mother will someday learn the value of life. I know that if she will ask for God’s forgiveness, God will give it to her.

I also hope that those couple who are trying to conceive but are not successful, would be given the chance to have their own child. Maybe, they will be the ones who will love and take good care of their babies.
