Update on RP’s H1N1 cases
I’ve heard on the news a while ago that there was a confirmed fatal case of H1N1 virus here in the Philippines. This is really freakin’ me out. The positive cases already swell to 473, however 400 of this cases already recovered.
I am not ready yet for the doomsday, but it looks like it starting already. May God provide cure for this pandemic soon. I still want to live longer.

Thank You Sandi for lifting my spirit. I don’t even want to go out, thinking that I might get the virus. We are a 3rd world country and I don’t know how will our government will do about this. I am just keep on praying that this would end soon.
Alterity, it’s so sad that a 15 year old child died in your area. Here in the Philippines, the first recorded fatal case was a 49 year old, and she’s a staff of the house of representative.

I am going into the nursing profession and am friends with a whole lot of nurses and they all are being told that this virus is NOT as bad as they said before. It’s not showing to be more dangerous than the regular flu which people obviously can die from but the big deal about this virus is that it’s new and we have no immunity or protection from it. I have no idea how bad it may get and I am from the USA but I just have a feeling it won’t be as scary as everyone is fearing.
We just had our first death in the area from the swine flu – a 15 year old child. How devastating! Take care to keep your hygiene up!
