Family Bonding at The Spa in Alabang Town Center
I remembered my high school days when we visited Alabang Town Center yesterday. This was the only nearest mall at Alabang back then, so my friends and I had no other choice on what places to visit when we want to stroll, window shop and play video games after school or exam days.
A lot has changed since my last visit here. The South Supermarket and National Bookstore was now replaced by Metro Alabang. It is a lot bigger now and there are a lot of people visiting this place now compared before.
My mom, brother and his wife had a relaxing massage at The Spa first. My mom had a Swedish Massage (P820 for 60 minutes) while my brother had a Combination Massage (P820 for 60 minutes). My sister in law, on the other hand opted to try the Reflexology massage (which is the cheapest massage that The Spa can offer at P550). My son and I strolled around the mall while they were having their massage. My sister arrived late so she decided not to pursue to her intended massage schedule anymore.
After an hour, the first one who finished was my sister in law. She told us that she had a great time, and she was surprised that the reflexology massage does not only concentrate on your feet but it also included the entire body minus lying down on the bed.
I accompanied my mom at the locker room because this was the first time she will have a massage at this place. I was amazed on how clean and organized the area was. The Deluxe Massage can use the wet floor (shower, sauna and jacuzzi) but my mom decided not to.
My brother on the hand wanted to maximize the experience and perks. He told us that he took a shower before the massage and had the Jacuzzi afterwards. He also enjoyed the ginger tea that was given after the massage.
After their massage, we strolled the mall and we let my son play in the playground provided by the mall for FREE. We then decided to have a dinner but unfortunately, we are not that familiar with the place, so we had a hard time choosing where to dine and how to get there. That is why we went to Festival Supermall instead since we are more familiar there.
At the end of the day, we had so much fun and had lots of stories to share. I didn’t took some photos inside The Spa because I was not able to have a massage for myself because I had to watch over my son. Next time, I will visit the place again and will try the Reflexology massage together with my sister and husband.
