Only in the Philippines
Another reason we Filipinos should be proud of: a never seen species of plants were found in Palawan. This plant is capable to eat rats and other insects. Β
The huge carnivorous pitcher plant called Nepenthes Attenboroughii, is said to be the largest meat-eating plant, was discovered at Mount Victoria in the municipality of Narra in Palawan.
I think this plant should be planted in farms wherein rats are all around. Β Rats destroyed rice and wheat in farms, and is one of the problems of our dear farmers. If only this plant can identify rats from cats or dogs then it is also advisable to put it in your garden (I think!).

Wow sana meron nito ang lahat. Wala sigurong rats na makakalusot. Super fan kami ng eldest ko ng Plants vs. Zombies at na surprise kami na meron palang carnivorous plant dito sa bansa natin. Nakaka proud.

That is very interesting. I didn’t even know there were meat eating plants. I think its a great idea to put them on farms for the reasons you stated π Thanks for sharing.
