The year that was 2015

Let me summarize the year that was 2015.

JANUARY – This is mine and Noel’s  birthday month. We decided to have a staycation at the well known Taal Vista Hotel. Then we went to Paradizoo, Skyranch and visited some famous food area there like Bag of Beans and Mushroom Burger. 

FEBRUARY – I celebrated my birthday with my Castillo and Martinez Family. We had a dinner c/o Yoree (a Korean restaurant at Molito Alabang).

MARCH– Ren’s graduation day. We survived the challenging Grade 1. 

APRIL– We got an invite to visit the newest resort at Puerto Prinsesa – Blue Palawan. It was our first time to ride a plane. It was a fantastic family trip. I even posted 10 places to visit at Puerto Prinsesa.

We were also featured in Smart Parenting magazine. Yay!

MAY – I had a new phone (ASUS Zenfone 2 ZE551ML ) this month. Ren had an opportunity to attend Jollibee’s Talent Camp at Las Pinas. He finished the 1 week camp with the kids of my fellow mommy bloggers.

JUNE –  Ren and I got a chance to watch the launching of the Hi-5 Philippines.

JULY – I was one of the chosen bloggers to promote awareness of Multiple Intelligence. I learned a lot from this campaign.

Also, the most awaited Edutainment facility Kidzania was also opened this month and we’re lucky to be the first to visit it. Ren had a blast.

AUGUST – We celebrated Ren’s 8th birthday at school. As usual it was a simple celebration but we made sure that his classmates will remember it.

Then we had a birthday staycation at the wonderful place- Crosswinds Tagaytay.

SEPTEMBER – Ren got an award for the Best in Science Expo in his school. It was because he is so interested with his topic which is Robotics. He was exempted in one of the Midterm exam because of this.

We also treated my in-laws, nieces and nephews to a lunch. This doesn’t happen always so I am thankful that we have budget for this kind of bonding moment.

OCTOBER –  It was my brother’s birthday month. He recently went abroad to find greener pasture for his family. We miss him, so I decided to celebrate it with the whole family including his mother-in-law. Again, I’m thankful that we were able to do this.

NOVEMBER –  I got a new phone this month (ASUS Zenfone 2 LASER) and gave it to my husband. During this month was also the first time Ren’s school had a field trip at Kampo Trexo.

DECEMBER – Ren had a lot of activities this month. We went to watch Hi-5 House of Dreams at Resorts World then Disney on Ice at Araneta Coliseum. It was our first time to watch both shows. 

It was a wonderful 2015 besides the trials that we have experienced. I am looking forward for a blessed 2016 for my family and yours too dear readers.  Let’s claim it!
