Get ready and Watch Hi-5 Philippines On TV5

Last June 11, TV5 proudly introduces the all-Filipino cast for the local version of the popular Australian kid’s program: Hi-5 Philippines.

Hi-5 Philippines will air weekdays at 8:30am and 3:45pm starting  June 15.

This is Ren with the cast of Hi-5 Philippines: Aira Binas, Fred Lo, Rissey Reyes, Alex Reyes,  Gerard Pagunsan . They are set to interact with kids in both English and Filipino language.

When I got an invite to attend the media launch, I ask Ren if he is interested to come with me. He excitedly said yes when he heard that it’s Hi-5.

He grew up watching the first ever batch of the Australian cast namely Nathan Foley, Tim Harding, Kellie Hoggart, Charli Robinson and Fil-Australian Kathleen de Leon.

Just to give you a little background, Fil-Australian Kathleen de Leon Jones was replaced by Sun Park in 2006, who was then replaced by Fely Irvine in 2009. Fely Irvine is also a Fil-Australian.

We’re happy to see Fely Irvine during the launch.

Ren might look sleepy in the picture, but he is not.

According to Media 5 Corporation President Ms. Jane Basas, they are proud to partner with Hi-5 world in introducing a local version of this highly interactive edutainment show.
