Our awesome trip to Paradizoo in Mendez Cavite
Visiting Paradizoo in Mendez Cavite is one of the things that we loved about our trip to Tagaytay last weekend. We checked out early from Taal Vista Hotel to be able to visit this place early and we were glad that we did. Paradizoo is 20-30 minutes away from Taal Vista.
Paradizoo is a nice place to visit if you like to enjoy nature and have a quality time with your family. The place has a lot of vegetables, flowers and farm animals (some are even roaming freely).
We were quite early so there were just a few people inside when we arrived. But after a few minutes, some students who were having their field trip were already coming in. It’s a good thing that Paradizoo is big enough to accommodate us all without bumping to each other.
Here are some of the ATTRACTIONS you will see in the area:
Buy some souvenirs from their Discovery Shop
Hot Coffee, Chips, Noodles and even ice creams can be found in their Cafe.
these colorful pots will greet you upon entering the theme farm. They are very quiet though. 🙂
they are cute aren’t they? You will smile just by looking at them.
old tires that were made into awesome animal designs.
Yeah I think I know how to do Camel talk… I said behave and smile 🙂
Ms. Universe pose of an ostrich
wear your most comfortable shoes because you will do a lot of walking (and hiking) in this place.
it will not be called a farm if there is no farm right? hahaha
These lettuce looks yummy!!! I forgot to ask how much per pot..
the butterfly garden received a thumbs up from Ren.
these honey bee jam are for sale for P120 per bottle
may these animals rest in peace
ACTIVITIES
Play Area for small kids. Watch out for some holes inside the play pen, okay? You need to pay P10 to enter here.
Ren enjoyed the zip ride so much. One ride cost P50.00
During our visit, there was a talk about Bonsai by Atish. This talk is part of the Paradizoo Power of Tree Festival.
this is Atish discussing how to create a beautiful bonsai that can win in a competition.
this bonsai looks like a real huge tree from this shot
this is what it really looks like
We will surely come back to this place this summer. We love it there!

Date of visit: Sep1,2018. Paradizoo was a waste of money! I paid almost 3,000 pesos including a 910 rental fee for a cab that will tour us around apparently a 10hectare site. We were a group of 10 including 2 seniors and 2 kids, so I decided to avail of the cab. Rate is 199 for adult and 149 for kids. If the kid is above 4feet he will be charged the adult rate. To our dismay, all we saw was some few animals (we can see our provinces) in a very stinky cage! It only took us few minutes to go around as there’s not much to see. If I only knew what we were about to see, I wouldn’t have wasted my time and won’t even dare to pay even if the entrance is just 20pesos but we just trusted those who were at the ticket booth it’s worth of our money. The rate is too expensive and not worth of what they offered. Never again!

I’ve been to Cavite many times because my cousins live there but haven’t been to Paradizoo. Looks like a great place for kids. The colorful pots and old tires are lovely…so creative.
Roch says
This is a great destination for outbound learning experiences for kids. Interaction with animals and with nature sounds a good idea as well for dates. Plus, prices are reasonable! 🙂

Ooh, magkaiba pala ang Paradizoo at Residence Inn. I thought na repackage ang Residence Inn as Paradizoo. The last time we visited Residence Inn kasi was 12 years ago, haha!
Karl Marty Balingit says
