In such a space, a child can quickly pick up elements of fun, even when getting a haircut. 

2. Bring toys

Toys are the imagery of fun for children. They make them think of good times, playtime and their friends. This will help your child feel more at ease in the new environs. It is also a great way to keep them distracted as they get their hair done.

3. Change the wording

5. Bring food

At this point, you do not want to pressure your child into eating vegetables, even though they are the healthier choice. If you want them to love getting their hair done, then pack their favorite food. It can be their best milkshake, fruit, cereal or snack. During the short breaks of the session, allow your child to eat a little. This will make them feel less restricted to go through with the trim as opposed to excited.
