5 Family Activities You Can Do At Home
When the pandemic struck, we had no choice but to stay at home and look for stuff or activities to entertain ourselves. So today, I’ve put together 5 family activity ideas that you can do together as a family.
Cook or Bake with your Kids – my son loves to eat and he wants to be a chef someday, so doing this activity is fun for him. He learned how to prepare the ingredients, make proper measurement and decide if the food is ready or not.
Read Books Together – my family loves reading books. My son likes sci-fi and adventures books, I like self help books while my husband likes mystery books and novels.
Play musical instruments and sing or dance together – this is good for your well being since it somehow lessen the stress or helps you to relax and not overthink for a while. Learning a new song is good for your mental health and dancing around to music is one of the best indoor activity for kids to do at home and get them moving.
Play Board Games – there are a lot of board games you can choose from a wide selection like snakes and ladders, UNO, Monopoly, chess and Cluedo and a lot more. Exercise or do yoga – Having at least 15-30 minutes exercise a day is good for your health. It will help you sweat and make your heart pump fast. You can start by doing simple exercises like walking or yoga. Yoga exercise will help you with your posture and flexibility.
