How to Cash In and Cash Out with GCASH

Online transactions became a thing in this pandemic season. Well, why not? it is more convenient and safer to use.

How to Cash In and Cash Out with GCASH?

GCASH is one of the apps that most of us use. In our subdivision, we encourage sellers and buyers to transact using this app and any other online payment to avoid touching cash that might contain the virus that’s just waiting to have a host.

Anyway, the next question is how can you Cash In in GCASH?

Cash In with GCASH

There are actually a lot of options to cash in in this app.

You can transfer from BPI, Unionbank and other banks online. I prefer Unionbank when doing this because I don’t need to input a PIN code that most of the time takes too long to arrive.

If you don’t have an online bank app, you can cash-in with GCASH through over the counter:

You can also cash in via remittance like Western Union, Moneygram and Paypal.

What’s nice with GCASH is that cashing in is in real time. You’ll see the amount posted in your account immediately. Beat that banks!!!

BUT unfortunately, cashing in is only FREE for selected banks such as BPI and Unionbank and Paypal. For Over-The-Counter Cash in, there’s a fee of 2% if you will exceed the 8,000 limit per month.

For Cash Out, what I usually do is to transfer my GCASH balance to my bank with ATM (BPI or Unionbank).

BUT if you don’t have any ATM from any bank, you can purchase a GCash Mastercard and link it to your GCASH account for only P150.00

To avoid charges and fees, I highly suggest to cash in via bank like BPI and Unionbank.
