PhilAm Life #LiveBetter Expo Overview
A few days ago I attended a PhilAm Life Vitality expo at Glorietta in Makati. Β I like it when companies do seminars and expos not only to promote their product or services but also to empower and help Filipinos to be a better version of themselves.
I noticed that getting a life insurance is not a priority for us Pinoy compared to other races. Well of course one of the reasons is that most of the “manggagawang Pinoy” thought that they don’t need one because they already have an SSS and they think it’s enough plus of course getting insurance is an additional expense on the family’s budget. Β Also there is this mindset that when you get old, your kids will take care of you and that they will be the one to provide for your needs.
That way of thinking is what we need to change because for me getting a life insurance should be one of your priority especially if you are the breadwinner of your family. For additional expense, yes it might be but there are insurances that not only protects you from unforeseen circumstances but also provide additional income/investment that you can get for future use. I don’t like the idea of depending to your child/children in the future when you’re already old and cannot work so this additional investment will help you get through life.
Going back to the PhilAm Life Expo, their visitors had a glimpse of the brand’s four key pillars which are FOOD, WELLNESS, FITNESS and FINANCIAL HEALTH.
This approach is in line with the company’s shift to the wellness space in an effort to help Filipinos live longer, healthier and have better lives. The #LiveBetter campaign aims to help Filipinos bridge the gap between what they want to achieve with regard to their health and their current lifestyle, creating a positive difference in their lives.
My Kumares visited all the booths, here we tried some exercises and we had fun doing it together.
What I learned from the financial booth at the PhilAm Expo is that they have this thing that the more you become healthy the more points and deals you can get. This program will encourage you to stay fit and be health conscious.
At the event, PhilAm ambassadors Nico Bolzico, his wife Solenn Heussaff and Mond Gutierrez also shared some tips on how to be healthy.
One of the tips they have mentioned is that you need to surround yourself with people who have the same goal as you. I totally agree with this because you will inspire and motivate each other to reach your dreams.
Talk to a financial agent and you two might come up with an insurance plan that is perfect for you and your budget.
