The Palmridge School at Citta Italia Bacoor Cavite
Curiosity is what brought me to visit The Palmridge School at Citta Italia in Mambog Bacoor Cavite.
I heard that it’s a nice school and as early as now, I am already looking for a school for Ren when he reaches high school (since I’m not sure if his current school will open high school). I went there last week to check their facilities while there are still students inside.
Here are the things that I saw and observed during my visit.
1. It looks like a university from the outside. It’s big and classy.
2. Since it’s inside a secured subdivision, I think the place is safe for kids.
3. Again, since it’s inside a subdivision, the place is so quiet which I think is suitable for kids (no noisy trucks, van or jeep…. only tricycles pass by)
4. The gymnasium is big and covered
5. The hallway is clean
The negative things that I have noticed are:
1. Upon inquiry, the person behind the glass wall just gave me a flyers which includes the school’s tuition fee and requirements. I did not feel the warm welcome at all.
2. I asked if I can check the rooms and she said that I can’t because they have classes. She told me that they are open on summer or every Saturday if I want to look around, but I insist that I wanted to check the rooms while there are students inside. That’s the only time she get out from the glass wall to assist me.
I’m not there to disturb the class, as a parent I just want to see the students while they are doing their drills. That is because one of the factors I consider in looking for school is Transparency.
3. Picture taking of the establishment is not allowed. I asked permission if I can take picture of the hallway, the CR or the Canteen but the person in charge prohibited me to do it. You might say that it is because of privacy issues because there are kids in the hallway, but during my visit there were none because they are all inside the rooms.
Again, transparency is very important to me.
I can’t judge their teaching because we are not enrolled here. All I know is that the maximum number of students per class is 30.
Tuition Fee:
Preschool : P45,620- P50,900
Grade 1 : P48,310- P52,500
(the tuition fee depends if you are paying in cash, quarterly or monthly)
Teaching Method: Traditional

Hi po Mommy Levy, I really recommend po The Palmridge School, the teaching style here is very different and good from other schools kasi po sa school na to its mastery so they won’t move to another topic until everyone understands the lesson.
The teachers here are very kind, but sometimes pinapalabas po ako at napaguidance na ko once time but he’s not teaching here anymore because he’s been removed.
What I can say is i-improve po nila yung computer lab and currently im typing this comment po using their computer :)))

Hi Mommy Levy! I just want to share my experience with Palmridge School.
For me its just right because when my daughter started formal schooling, i was looking at a school which was small enough for my daughter for her not to be overwhelmed by big schools but complete enough that the facilities are on par with other big schools. She was a little shy at first but na overcome nya because of very approachable yung teachers nya and mga older kids treat younger ones as their little sister or brother.
Academics are good also kasi I help research on her assignment and i get surprised dun sa mga lessons nila na its being included already in their curriculum.
Security wise and aesthetics naman i like it that nasa inside Citta Italia Village sya so there are no cars masyado since its not a busy highway naman. Rooms are aircon and their campus is clean. Tuition is a little higher than some schools naman but as a parent we only want the best for our kids. Ganda din nung program nila na Tulak because it teaches social responsibility at an early age =) Hope this helps the other mommies out there!

Hi Mam,
My children were raised and born in Dubai. They are both enrolled in a British school. They can understand Tagalog but can’t speak and write. We are planning to move them temporarily to the Philippines. We were thinking about enrolling them in Palmridge School or Westhill International School. Perhaps you can give me an advice about this schools. What is the difference between traditional teaching and other approaches in teaching. We are living in General Trias Cavite in The Gentri Heights. Thank you so much. Maria

Perhaps you could check out International British Academy in Imus along Aguinaldo Highway.

Hi mommy levy, would u know if they are accepting toddler? My son is 3 yo and no background yet.
Mommy Levy says
I think they are, but I suggest to try smaller class group since your kid is still too young, baka ma overwhelm sa big school.
Bella says
Meron ka ba masusuggest na school for toddler? Thanks thanks
Mommy Levy says

Pls do u know if the Benedictine school of cavite is an English speaking-teaching school. I sincerely need an affordable English speaking-teaching school for my kids. We are foreigners living in Calapan.
Thanks.

As far as I know, Calapan is quite far from Cavite

Hi there. I chanced upon your blog because I was doing a search on Academia De Julia Victoria and I saw this entry.
My daughter studies in Palmridge. I transferred her here from Thomas Aquinas and I have to say that I am happy with the school. I understand where you are coming from regarding the lady behind the glass window. Maybe she was just having a bad day? In my experience with the school and their personnel, they are very warm and welcoming. Everyone there greets you when they see you. From the guards, the ‘Ates’, teachers and office staff.
With regard to their teaching and how they deal with pre-school students, I am satisfied. My daughter was shy and a bit anti-social before transferring to Palmridge. She hated going to school and it was a struggle getting her to wake up and prepare for school. When she transferred to Palmridge, we saw an improvement. Yes, there are still days when she doesn’t feel like going to school but this has lessened. Most of the time she is excited and unlike in her previous school, she now joins group activities and performances. I’m not sure if it is the school and the environment or maybe she just matured. Nevertheless, I only have good things to say about The Palmridge School.
I hope this helps the parents who are looking for a good school in Molino, Bacoor. Of course it is still best to visit the school to see for yourself. Maybe it would also be a good idea to call in advance and ask if someone from the school can give you an official tour of the grounds and if there are areas where you can or cannot take photos.

thank you for your feedback 🙂

Hi Ms. Maan, may i know the reason why you transfer from aquinas to palmridge? Thank you
Maan says
Hi. Just saw this now. I am so sorry the very late response. I find Thomas Aquinas too small. I wanted a bigger school so that my daughter will be more sociable, open and comfortable with people. Mas malaki rin school grounds ng The Palmridge School versus Thomas Aquinas plus it’s inside a village so I feel it is safer.

Hi Ms. Maan, why did you transfer your daughter from Thomas Aquinas?

Hi! Do they practice Montessori way of teaching? I read from their website that they are affiliated with and operated by Montessori De Manila.
Thanks!
Maan says
Yes. Same owner / management ang Palmridge and Montessori de Manila in BF Homes. I think Palmridge is 50% traditional and 50% Montessori.
Shirly says
Yes they are affiliated same owners. They teach Montessori way. Happy Mommy that my kids are in Palmridge.
