Mommies, the Chat History Backup feature of WeChat can save us
Have you ever experienced the following situations?
- You are chatting with your kid’s teacher about an important matter at school, and then you accidentally delete all the messages that she just said. Isn’t it shameful to ask her about it again?
- When you feel down and lonely, and you want to check the sweet messages that your boyfriend or your husband sent you to help you feel okay, but unfortunately you cannot see it again on your phone.
- That you are chatting with someone about business related concerns and that you wanted to save all the details she/he told you for proof in the future in case your partner forget about what the two of you agreed upon.
Isn’t it hard to manually write all these details? Besides, doing it is such a waste of time which I would rather spend with my two boys.
If you have downloaded the WeChat app to your android phone, iPhone or Blackberry, then you have the option to use the Chat History Backup feature to save the important messages that you may want to check later on. Isn’t that great?
The simple 3-step process of WeChat’s Chat History Backup starts with selecting “Settings” > “General” > “Chat History Backup” and then clicking “Back Up” for the conversations you’d like to store.
Once you’ve saved your chats, you can protect them by setting a password for your privacy.
To restore your conversations on any device, simply log on and tap “Restore” on the Chat History Backup window. The backed-up history will be restored to your device from the server.
WeChat is available to download for free on Android, BlackBerry, iOS, Symbian and Windows operating systems.

WeChat users will definitely benefit from the Chat History BackUp feature especially for forgetful people like me.
This feature of WeChat is the one I like most right now because I tend to easily forget notes and small details.
It can really save and brighten up the day as some of the conversation contains some info we need.

WeChat has a commendable feature which could save anyone from possible trouble of accidental deletion of messages and failing from recalling the important messages. This is because of the said feature of Saving, Protecting, and Restoring.
