Merlion’s Cuisine and St. Marc Cafe at Evia Lifestyle Center
As I have mentioned in my previous post, we don’t usually go out during Valentine’s day because of the fear of crowded malls and restaurants. But that changed this year….. whileΒ I was having a pre-afternoon nap (after I brought Ren to school and finished tutoring our neighbor’s kid), he asked me to dress up and to have our lunch outside. This is one of the advantages of working from home and you have a kid at school, we have some free time to spare.
We decided to go to Evia Lifestyle Center and just choose what restaurant to try. Yes, we really have no plans or prior reservations.Β Since we haven’t been to Merlion’s Cuisine we decided to have our lunch there.
Our trip to Singapore flashed back when I saw the food in their menu. They have Hainanese chicken, Bakuteh, Cereal prawns, Chili Crab etc.
What they don’t have are salted egg flavored dishes though.
I would like to order the cereal prawns but hubby is allergic to shrimps and carbs, I’m afraid to finish it all.
What did we order?
Noel likes this sweet and sour pork while I ordered the dimsum soup. We partnered it with Singapore styled fried rice.
We enjoyed all these dishes. Our total bill is around P1,000, and we were able to take out some of that dimsum soup.
We would definitely go back here with Ren next time.
After lunch, we decided to have a dessert at St.Marc Cafe. It’s also our first time to dine here.
Hubby ordered Kyoto, because it was indicated that it’s a must try in their menu and he loves Japanese stuff.
While I on the other hand, chose this Espresso Jelly.
Both are okay, the combination of different ingredients made it interesting. Both our orders has a matcha ice cream on the side.
Next time, we will try their coffee and pasta.
Visit these stores at Evia Lifestyle Center along Daang Hari Road, Las PiΓ±as City.
