Hot Wheels Collectors Convention Returns to Okada Manila on September 5 & 6
The Hot Wheels Collectors Convention returns to Okada Manila for the second consecutive year on September 5 and 6, 2026. The free-entry event features a special appearance by Hot Wheels Designer Brendon Vetuskey, exclusive releases, a 1:1-scale convention car, automotive displays, and competitions for collectors and families.

Hosted at Okada Manila, the Philippines’ largest Forbes 5-star integrated resort for seven consecutive years, organized by Metrics and presented in partnership with Hot Wheels Philippines, this year’s convention brings more ways for Filipino collectors, car enthusiasts, and families to experience Hot Wheels beyond the 1:64 scale.
“At Okada Manila, we are committed to presenting a diverse calendar of experiences for our guests. The Hot Wheels Collectors Convention is a meaningful addition, underscoring our continued focus on bringing globally recognized entertainment brands and experiences to Filipino audiences,” said Shirley Tam, Chief Marketing Officer for Integrated Sales and Marketing of Okada Manila.

From 1:64 Scale to Full-Size Hot Wheels
One of this year’s standout attractions at the Crystal Pavilion brings the collecting experience to full scale with a 1:1 version of the 2026 Hot Wheels Convention Car. The official 2026 convention car is the Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II, inspired by Ilocano geometric weaving. Its full-scale counterpart brings the details of the collectible into the real world, creating a direct connection between Hot Wheels collecting and automotive design.

Guests can also meet Hot Wheels Designer Brendon Vetuskey during scheduled autograph sessions and hear from him during a special designer talk and Q&A. The convention also brings several exclusive launches together at Okada Manila, including the 2026 Hot Wheels x 7-Eleven Limited Edition cars, Mattel Brick Shop™ Hot Wheels®, and the Fast & Furious 25th Anniversary collection.
Collectors can put their passion and creativity on display through the Hot Wheels Downhill Race, Diorama Contest, and Custom Car Contest, while children ages 7–12 can take on the Hot Wheels Let’s Race Tournament. Guests can also explore automotive displays by Decal Republic, exclusive merchandise, exhibitor showcases, and retail booths across the convention floor.
Together, the program connects the details and imagination behind a Hot Wheels collectible with the design, customization, and performance of real-world cars.
Driven by a Growing Filipino Collector Community
At the heart of the convention are the collectors and enthusiasts who have helped turn Hot Wheels into a thriving culture in the Philippines. Collections can span childhood favorites, nostalgic releases, customized cars, and sought-after pieces, each carrying stories and personal connections that extend beyond the cars themselves.
“The past two years have shown us just how passionate, creative, and deeply connected the Filipino Hot Wheels community is. This year, we took everything we learned from those experiences and challenged ourselves to unlock something bigger—not simply a larger event, but a more meaningful celebration of collecting, automotive culture, creativity, and community,” said John Michael S. Leabres, Head of Marketing, Richprime Global Inc. (Hot Wheels Philippines). “Hot Wheels has always been more than just a toy. It represents creativity, design, automotive passion, and imagination. Seeing that spirit reflected in the growing community of Filipino collectors and car enthusiasts is what continues to inspire us to create experiences that bring people together.”
The scale of the Crystal Pavilion allows the convention to bring full-size automotive displays, collector showcases, competitions, retail experiences, and family activities together under one roof, making Okada Manila a fitting destination for the growing event.
The 2026 Hot Wheels Collectors Convention is open to the public with free entry at the Crystal Pavilion, Okada Manila, on September 5 & 6, 2026.
