Saint Jerome Emiliani Institute at Pag-Asa Molino Cavite
St. Jerome Emiliani Institute is a private, co-educational Catholic Institution conducted by the Somascan Missionary Sisters. It is located at the back of Sto. Niño de Molino Parish Church, Bahayang Pag-asa, Molino, Bacoor, Cavite, Philippines.
I have visited this school to see what it look inside. I went there during lunch time. the registrars/ administration office was still closed. While waiting for the time for it to open, I secretly roamed around the place (glad that the guard did not noticed me).
What I like:
1. Non-aircondition classroom – because diseases such as cough and colds will not spread easily compared to air conditioned classroom. I checked the rooms and I have noticed that they have enough electric fans for the whole class. Plus hindi masyadong mainit ang rooms kasi madami silang bintana.
2. Not so high buildings – I’m afraid of tall buildings so I appreciate schools with at least 3 or 4 floors only.
3. Stairs are not slippery
4. Catholic School – My husband and I both graduated from a catholic school and I think the school curriculum helped us to be good citizens like we are now.
What I don’t like:
1. The Gym’s location – it is situated at the middle of the school. When I visited them, there are a lot of students practicing on the stage for a dance program while others are playing basketball, they were too noisy that I think may distract the kids inside the rooms. The classrooms surrounds the gym.
2. The Registrar office does not know what is mainstreaming, so I guess they don’t accept or did not have a student that needs to be on that program.
Their Canteen is okay, nothing extra ordinary.
I think that this is a nice school for neuro typical students. I hope that someone from this school will comment here and tell me something about their experience with the school.
Tuition Fee:
30,000-45,000 (depending on the level, but it already includes books)
The preschool department is situated in a different location.
Teaching Method:
Traditional

I am once a St. Jerome Emiliani Institute student and my experience was amazing. This school is improving a child’s skills and their attitude towards to other children. As a former student here, i became closer to God. The school center is God and as a proof, every we have mass every 8th and 24th or 28th of the month. Yung activities ay may connect sa church. As an old student of this school, i would recommend this school sa mga parents na gustong lumaki ang anak na skillful and faithful.

Mommy Nais,
May I know why you are transfering your kid from DLa?
Which is better Vallejo or DLA. Thanks

Hi, just found your site looking for other schools around the Bacoor/Imus area. My daughter who just finished gr 2 in St Jerome is one of the top achievers. Here are my thoughts.
1. Traditional method same as when I was in elementary
2. Catholic – they usually have masses on 1st Fridays ( I think), they have 3 day mass during foundation day.
3. Mix of teachers, some good some don’t care about their students.
4. They have an annual orientation on parenting and education for kids. which is good.
5. report cards are released on sundays for parents to interact with teachers on their child’s status.
What I don’t like.
1. medyo walang sistema pag may programs, recognition etc.
2. during enrollment some staffs don’t have an idea kung kalian ang pasukan, no section assignments yet kahit enrolled na.
3. not much activities to see your kid’s potential.
4. no music club or musical instruments that they can learn (I think)
Basically administrative lang ang issue ko sa school. I am thinking of transferring my daughter when she reaches grade 4.
By the way, not sure if you have a review about Academia De Covina, they are good in preschool in my opinion. tutok nila mga bata.

thank you so much for the feedback. I haven’t been to Academia De Covina. Saan ba yun?

Just found out that I wasnt able to reply to you. Along buhay na tubig go to Masaito drive, turn left to Covina Village. U will see a castle school. Teacher Mina who is the owner of the school is really accomodating and and explains their school system clearly. You can check it out.

Hi Mommy Bern, My son studied at Vallejo Learning Venue from Nursery to Grade 1 🙂 Teacher Kristine and other teachers knows my son well 🙂 Grade 2 at St.John Dasma and Grade 3-5 from DLA. searching for new school this A.Y. for his Grade 6. haaayyy. Mommy Levy, Vallejo Learning Venue is inside the subdivision. I recommend the school lalo na within the vicinity kasi children became competitive too, like mine. before until Grade 1 lang sila. Now they expanded until Grade 6. Not advisable for me to transfer my son back kasi pano pag nag grade 7 and so on… transfer ulit? hehe.
