What food will you prepare for Noche Buena?
As early as now, I am already thinking of the meals I will prepare for Noche Buena. But since I have lots of Gift Certificates and coupons that I have won from different contests I am thinking that instead of cooking, (which I really don’t do a lot) I will only use the GC’s I’ve got. It will help me to focus more on the gift-giving and it is really hassle-free.
here is the list of foods that I am thinking of preparing for our Noche Buena.
Since I still have P1,200 Red Ribbon GC left, which I’ve won from an Online Writing Contest at Nomnom Club I am planning to buy this new cake from Red Ribbon the “Chocolate Walnut Fudge with Hershey’s Dark Chocolate”. Whew, this looks yummy and I really love chocolates. It is worth P680.00.
So, I still have P520.00 left so I think I’ll buy a Red Ribbon’s Palabok (delicious pork-shrimp sauce, poured over rich flour noodles, topped with crunchy ground chicharon, tasty tinapa flakes and boiled eggs). I will buy the platter that is good for 6-9 person that cost P385.00 only. Only the 3 of us will eat this, but Noel is equivalent to 3 persons so I have to choose this size : )
Oh! and I still have P135.00 left. I’ll go for Red Ribbon’s Mango Bars that cost P168.00 for pack of 12. I will only add P33.00 cash for all this food. Love it!
Noel and I also have a Gonuts Donuts FREE Ice Cream Tub each, and I am planning to get it on the 24th at the SM Makati or SM MOA (we got this when we signed up to become the first 2,000 Fan of Gonuts).
I also have an Outback Steakhouse P1000 GC that I’ve won from HitaBargain. I still don’t know if I will include these in our Noche Buena.
I need to be frugal right now since Noel is planning to leave his full-time job in the office next year. He will focus more in his jobs in Odesk since he is earning more there ($10/hr). But I don’t know if it can sustain our everyday needs because it will depend on the number of clients that will hire him still. I am praying that everything would be okay for us.
How about you, what is your Noche Buena for the Christmas Eve?
what ever happens in life we should always remember to live life to the fullest
