I am loving KC Concepcion in Lovers in Paris
Remember my post about how I adore Angel over KC in their last movies, and I even had a poll on who do you think is the better actress? wherein Angel won over KC. At that time, I was really disappointed with KC with her movie with Richard Gutierrez that’s why I have said that Angel is better. KC started as a theater actress that’s why I have a very high expectations with her.
I really believe that theater actresses and actors are better than those on TV’s because there’s no room for mistakes. Theaters had no cuts and film editing, if you did wrong you must do something with it impromptu.
Anyway, let’s go back to KC, well I can say that she is doing great with Piolo Pascual in their primetime drama show entitled “Lovers in Paris”. She is becoming a better actress like her mom (Sharon Cuneta). I loved the way she delivers her lines all the time. Although she is fluent in english, she can deliver her lines in tagalog fluently also. She’s so beautiful even without her make-up and even when her hair is not well combed.
My husband, never watched any primetime shows but when we had a glance at Lovers in Paris he was hooked up. This is the only primetime shows he had ever watched in his entire life (imagine that!). So, I really can say that the actresses and actors are great. I haven’t watched the original Lovers in Paris (Korean version) that’s why I can’t compare if the Filipino version is much better. Maybe if I have time I will watch the Korean version also, so that I can compare.

Hi Vera, actually napanood ko din si Vivian ng Korea (kunti lang) and she is so funny! yung pagnagsasalita sya ng Aja! pero hindi ko natutukan yung story that’s why I have no idea what was the ending.
i also love this series, ricky lee pala ang writer nito,kaya magaling ang pagkakagawa, i love the pinoy version than the original one..casts are superb…
I don’t really watch a lot of TV (except for the news and Glee – okay, and Survivor…), but this got me curious. I’ve never seen KC act. I didn’t even know she was on TV. lol I gotta crawl out from under my rock more!
Hi. I have been following LIP since day 1. I am a fan of Sharon, that is why it goes down to her kids. I love everything in LIP. Every single character shines in the teleserye. KC is very much an improvement. She is very good in comedy. I never thought I would still get ‘kilig’ watching teleserye. Kudos to director, FM Reyes, and I believe there is also a collaboration of Ricky Lee and Olive Lamasan, in the scriptwriting I must say.
I guess it’s because i was such a fan of the original Korean version that I’m having a hard time appreciating KC in this role as Vivian. But I do like her 🙂

Ang saya naman pareho tayo! I also loved the poll scene, yung bigla na lang tuloy tuloy yung luha ni KC then nanginginig pa yung bibig nya. I love it!

i also watched her two movies, i find her acting, oa , well, theatrical ang dating, she still cant isolate herself from doing it in front of the camera to the theatre (i should know coz i used to be an actress in theatre before when i was in high school).
But now, i appreciate more her acting skills, her role is kinda hard, coz different facets ang pinoportray nya ,comedy, drama.. but she was able to deliver it well..
I love the pool scene…but for me the best was last night..cant remember when ako last kinilig sa isang teleserye…ngayon lang..
