A First Look at UNIQLO’s 2026 Fall/Winter Collection
When I received an invitation to attend the launch of UNIQLO’s 2026 Fall/Winter Collection, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect. Since we live in the Philippines, where it can still feel warm even when brands are already talking about fall and winter, I was curious to see how UNIQLO would translate the season’s trends into pieces that could actually work for everyday life.
The event, held in Manila, gave us a closer look at the latest LifeWear collection, from relaxed jeans and casual jackets to fleece, knits, loungewear and other everyday essentials.
What I noticed most was that the collection still stayed true to what I usually look for from UNIQLO: pieces that are simple, comfortable and easy to mix and match.
Everyday Pieces for the Modern City
UNIQLO’s 2026 Fall/Winter Collection focuses on modern city living, where people are constantly moving from one activity to another.
For me, this is particularly relatable. As a mom, my day can easily involve errands, work, attending events, running around for family responsibilities and sometimes squeezing in a little personal time. I don’t necessarily need a completely different outfit for every part of my day. I prefer clothes that are comfortable enough for moving around but still look presentable.
That practicality is very much reflected in this collection.
One of the highlights is the range of bottoms, including the Baggy Barrel Leg Jeans and EZY Wide Straight Jeans. The relaxed silhouettes make them easy to style with simple tops, shirts, jackets or sweaters.
I also noticed the Culotte collection, which offers another versatile option for those who prefer a looser and more relaxed silhouette.
Jeans, Jackets and Layers
Although we don’t experience a typical cold fall or winter season in the Philippines, some of the collection’s outerwear pieces are still interesting for travel and cooler destinations.
The Harrington Jacket, Denim Trucker Jacket and Coverall can easily work as lightweight layers. These are the kinds of pieces I can imagine bringing on a trip, especially when traveling somewhere with cooler weather.
Then there is the ever-popular Fleece collection.

During the presentation, I could already imagine how useful these pieces would be for anyone traveling abroad during colder months. They are designed to provide warmth without looking overly bulky, making them easy to layer with other pieces.
For someone who travels with family, this is something I appreciate because packing bulky winter clothes can be such a challenge.
Comfortable Doesn’t Have to Mean Boring
Another thing that stood out during the event was how UNIQLO continues to blur the line between comfort and everyday fashion.
The Sport Utility Wear collection, for example, offers pieces designed for movement and everyday activities. These can work for errands, casual outings, travel and even light exercise.
The collection also includes different knitwear options. The Souffle Yarn Knits, made with extra fine merino wool, offer a warmer option for colder destinations, while Smooth Cotton Knits are a more practical choice for everyday wear.
There are also loungewear and innerwear pieces that can easily transition from staying at home to stepping outside.
Anne Curtis Joins UNIQLO’s Newest Lineup
One of the highlights of the event was the introduction of UNIQLO Philippines’ newest local celebrity partner, Anne Curtis.
She showcased two different looks from the collection, both showing how the same relaxed approach can create very different styles.
For her first look, she wore the Zip Up Short Jacket with the JW Anderson Boxy Oxford Long Sleeve Shirt and Ribbed Henley Neck Long Sleeve T-Shirt, paired with Baggy Barrel Leg Jeans.
Her second look was cozier, featuring the Fluffy Yarn Fleece Full-Zip Jacket, UNIQLO : C Milano Ribbed Full-Zip Cardigan and Baggy Barrel Leg Jeans.
Anne also shared that she tends to get cold easily, even in Manila, which made the fleece jacket one of the pieces she particularly enjoyed.
Seeing the clothes styled on different personalities at the event also made me appreciate how flexible the collection is. You don’t necessarily have to follow one particular style. The pieces can be dressed up, dressed down or layered depending on your personality and lifestyle.
More Familiar Faces, More Styling Ideas
The event also featured UNIQLO Philippines’ other local celebrity partners, each showcasing different parts of the collection.
Alexa Ilacad highlighted the AIRism Bra Sleeveless Top, layered with a JW Anderson Oxford Boxy Long Sleeve Shirt and Windproof Stand Blouson.
Anthony Constantino showed how UNIQLO Sweats can go beyond typical loungewear, pairing an oversized sweatshirt with Sweat Wide Pants and a shirt layer.
Emilio Daez showcased the versatility of the AIRism Cotton Oversized Crew Neck T-Shirt with a Waffle Henley Neck Long Sleeve T-Shirt, Baggy Jeans and a Fleece Full-Zip Jacket.
Kianna Dy gave a relaxed take on lounge and innerwear pieces, while Matteo Guidicelli went for a more classic look with the Cashmere Crew Neck Sweater, JW Anderson Denim Long Sleeve Shirt and Slim Chino Pants.
Solenn Heussaff, meanwhile, showed how layering can create a more polished city look with a Coated Relaxed Shirt Jacket, HEATTECH Extra Warm Cashmere Blend Turtleneck T-Shirt and Smart Culottes.
UNIQLO U Turns 10
Another milestone highlighted during the event is the 10th anniversary of UNIQLO U.
The collection continues to evolve the idea of LifeWear through functional designs and modern silhouettes.
Fans of UNIQLO : C and UT will also have more to look forward to, with upcoming designs and collaborations featuring themes such as Manga 100th, YOASOBI, Pokémon, Ukiyo-e, Peanuts and NY POP ART.

As someone who enjoys finding pieces that are both practical and easy to style, the UT collections are always something I like checking out. They can add a little personality to an otherwise simple everyday outfit.
A Look at UNIQLO’s Sustainability Efforts
Beyond clothing, UNIQLO also continues to highlight its sustainability and community initiatives.
One of the initiatives featured this season is PEACE FOR ALL, which supports efforts that benefit communities around the world. In the Philippines, UNIQLO is partnering with Plan International Pilipinas to support underserved Filipino youth, particularly young women, through skills development, employability and entrepreneurship opportunities.
The brand is also continuing its Re.UNIQLO efforts.
As part of the 70th Friendship Year between the Philippines and Japan, UNIQLO recently introduced Re.UNIQLO Special Artisan Patches, created in collaboration with local artisans. The designs feature elements inspired by both countries, including landmarks, seasons and food.
These patches can be added to UNIQLO pieces through the Re.UNIQLO Studio Embroidery Service, giving customers a way to personalize their favorite LifeWear.
My Takeaway from the Event
What I liked about seeing the collection in person was that it didn’t feel like UNIQLO was trying to completely reinvent everyday dressing.
Instead, it was more about taking familiar wardrobe staples and giving them updated cuts, materials, colors and styling options.
And honestly, that’s what I appreciate about LifeWear.
As a mom, I tend to prioritize comfort and versatility. I want clothes that I can actually wear repeatedly, mix with pieces I already own and bring with me when traveling.
While some of the heavier Fall/Winter pieces may be more suited to cooler destinations rather than our usual Philippine weather, there are still plenty of everyday pieces that can work here, especially the jeans, shirts, lighter layers, innerwear and casual wear.
The event was also a nice reminder that dressing comfortably doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice looking put together.
The UNIQLO 2026 Fall/Winter Collection is now something I’ll be keeping an eye on, especially when planning future travel and looking for practical wardrobe staples for the family.
