My Experience at Anko’s Cupcake Workshop for Moms and Kids
I recently attended a small workshop hosted by Anko at Ayala Malls Manila Bay in Pasay. It was a tea party and cupcake decorating activity for moms and kids. The setup was simple, and while it wasn’t as lively as I imagined, it was still a quiet way to spend the afternoon.

To be honest, what I appreciated more was the chance to browse around the store after. If you enjoy looking for practical home finds, that part felt more worth it for me.
A Simple Afternoon, Made Slower
The workshop itself was straightforward. Kids and moms decorated cupcakes, with sprinkles, chocolate chips and more.

It wasn’t overly interactive or high-energy, but it gave space for a slower, more relaxed activity. For some moms, that kind of setup might actually be a good thing, especially if you prefer something low-key.
Learning from Mommy Ivi

The session was led by Ivi Piadozo, also known as Mommy Ivi of Our Daily Ulam. She demonstrated simple decorating techniques that are easy to follow and practical enough to try at home, such as sandwich making, which she previously did with her son, and basic piping tips (although she didn’t demonstrate them on the spot). She also mentioned that all the items in Anko’s setup booth are available in-store.

More Activities for Moms and Kids
Anko is continuing its Mother’s Day activities with more workshops like “Flowers for Mom” happening in branches like Ayala Malls Manila Bay and Ayala Malls Feliz.
These are simple activities that families can join if they’re looking for something easy and accessible to do together.
If you’re looking for something simple but meaningful to do with your kids, this is definitely something worth checking out.
