Our Latest UNIQLO Find: Ukiyo-E UT Shirt

As a mom, I always look for clothes that are comfortable, affordable, and bagay sa weather natin. Living in the Philippines means mainit most of the time, so we always choose clothes that are presko and easy to wear.

Recently, we found a nice shirt from UNIQLO — the Ukiyo-E Blue UT design, and my son really liked it right away. The design is inspired by Japanese art, so it looks simple but very unique at the same time. It’s the kind of shirt that looks good even if the outfit is just shirt, shorts, and sneakers.

We got the shirt for P790, which is actually sulit already for the quality. One thing my son immediately noticed was how cool and comfortable the shirt feels when worn. The material is 100% cotton, which is perfect for our Philippine weather because it’s breathable and not too hot on the skin.

For kids (and even adults), comfort is really important. If the shirt is too thick or too mainit, they won’t want to wear it. But this one quickly became one of his favorite shirts because it’s magaan, presko, and easy to move in. Perfect for school, malling, walking, or everyday lakad.

What I also like about UT shirts from UNIQLO is that the prints are interesting but not too loud, so madaling i-partner sa kahit anong shorts or pants. You don’t need to think too much about the outfit.

As a mom, I appreciate clothes that are:

• Good quality
• Not too expensive
• Easy to mix and match
• Suitable for Philippine weather

And this shirt checks all those boxes.

Sometimes, you don’t really need very expensive clothes for kids. You just need something comfortable, matibay, and presko, especially with our weather.

For us, this was a good buy for P790, and most importantly, my son is happy and comfortable wearing it — and that’s already a win for me as a mom.
