Nono’s Restaurant Review
This was already our second time dining at Nono’s, and both visits were extra special because we celebrated our wedding anniversary here. There’s just something about marking milestones in a place that feels familiar, comforting, and a little indulgent.

As soon as we arrived, the crew warmly inquired about our group size and guided us to our table. The setup is modern and organized, and on the table, you’ll find a QR code menu that you need to scan to place your order.
To be honest, this was the only part we found a bit challenging. The site took quite a while to load, and placing our order was slower than expected. Considering that Nono’s has a lot of attentive staff around, we personally felt that ordering directly with the crew would have been faster and more convenient.
What We Ordered
Despite that small hiccup, the food definitely made up for it.
Ren ordered the Glazed Miso Salmon, which is a baked salmon fillet glazed with Japanese miso. It’s served with red rice, fresh corn kernels, and French beans. The dish looked clean and balanced, and it’s a great option if you want something flavorful but still on the healthier side.

I ordered Nono’s Homestyle Fried Chicken with Waffles. It comes with butter, gravy, and a honey dip. The waffles stood out the most for me because they were flaky and not the usual kind you often get. The combination of savory chicken and sweet waffles was satisfying and filling.

My husband chose the Loco Moco, which featured juicy beef patties layered with crispy onion strings and rich mushroom gravy, all served over garlic rice with a sunny-side-up egg. It’s hearty, comforting, and perfect if you’re craving something heavy and indulgent.

Pricing and Overall Experience
I honestly wanted to order more, but Nono’s is on the slightly expensive side, so we decided to limit ourselves to one dish each. Maybe next time, when there’s extra budget, we’ll explore more items on the menu.
Our total bill came to PHP 1,507, and we were able to get a discount using Ren’s PWD ID, which we truly appreciate.
Overall, dining at Nono’s felt like a relaxed and meaningful way to celebrate our anniversary. While there’s room for improvement when it comes to the ordering system, the food quality and experience still made our visit worthwhile.
