Anko Turns One! A Fun Celebration of Bright Living and Filipino Warmth
Yesterday, I attended the Anko 1st Anniversary celebration at Ayala Malls Glorietta — and it turned out to be a fun, feel-good event that perfectly matched my schedule! Since my boys and I were planning to visit Makati Cemetery afterward, I decided to drop by first. It was also perfect timing because it’s my son’s first day of semestral vacation, so we made a mini family day out of it.
When I arrived, the Palm Drive Activity Center was full of energy and creativity. You could really feel the joy and warmth that Anko wanted to share with Filipino families. The setup was filled with festive photo spots, colorful displays, and of course, their beautiful home and lifestyle items that make any space look “Pinterest-worthy” without breaking the budget.

🎉 A Year of Home, Joy, and Connection
It’s hard to believe that Anko has only been in the Philippines for one year! The brand (originally from Australia) opened its doors last year and has quickly become a favorite among Filipino families who love affordable yet stylish home finds.
To celebrate its milestone, Anko held a weekend of festivities starting November 7, 2025. The highlight was meeting brand ambassador Anne Curtis, who perfectly represents Anko’s cheerful and family-friendly vibe. Guests who signed up for the Anko Club were treated to special activities like gifting stations, interactive zones, and creative workshops such as calligraphy and gift wrapping across their other branches in TriNoma, Alabang Town Center, and Ayala Malls Manila Bay.

🏡 Why Moms Love Anko
As a mom who loves decorating and organizing our home, Anko is a breath of fresh air. They make it easy to find functional and trendy pieces without overspending. From kitchen essentials, storage solutions, toys, and pet items, everything feels well-designed and high-quality, but still affordable.
I also appreciate that they release new items every week, which keeps the shopping experience exciting. Recently, they even expanded into small appliances, which means you can now find more options for your kitchen or home office in one stop.
💛 From One Store to Many
In just a year, Anko has grown from one branch to four — in Glorietta, TriNoma, Alabang Town Center, and Manila Bay — with a fifth one opening soon at Ayala Malls Feliz.
According to Rachel Turner, Anko Philippines’ Country Manager, the success of their first year has been truly inspiring:
“We launched Anko with the goal of offering quality, design, and affordability all in one place, and the response from Filipino shoppers has been incredible.”
🎁 Looking Ahead: A Brighter, Cozier Home for Every Filipino Family
To celebrate the season, Anko also launched their Christmas Lookbook (you can check it out at anko.com/ph/lookbook), which is full of inspiration for decorating and gifting. Whether you’re looking for something to spruce up your home or wrap up for loved ones, they’ve got plenty of affordable options to choose from.

🌸 Final Thoughts
I’m glad I decided to attend Anko’s anniversary celebration before our visit to Makati Cemetery. The event reminded me that creating a happy, comfortable home doesn’t need to be expensive. Sometimes, all you need are thoughtfully designed pieces that spark joy.
Here’s to more years of bright living, creativity, and home happiness with Anko!
