Must-Try in Alabang: Tender Pork Ribs at United Steak for Just ₱200

When a friend told me about United Steak inside SM Supermarket at Festival Mall, she couldn’t stop raving about their pork ribs because it’s tender, flavorful, and super affordable at only ₱200. Of course, I got curious and we just had to try it for ourselves!

First Impressions: Affordable Pero Parang Fine Dining

The first thing I noticed? The pork ribs looked so good! I ordered the Pork Ribs with Garlic Rice, and I was surprised at how soft the meat was. I didn’t even need a knife! Just using a fork, I could easily cut through the meat. When I finally took a bite, wow… the ribs were juicy, tender, and flavorful, and honestly, it can challenge the baby back ribs from other, more expensive restaurants.

A Meal Worth Every Peso

For only ₱200, you get a decent portion that’s filling and satisfying. The pork steak, which my husband ordered, also cost ₱200, and he said it was just as good. Both dishes came with rice, making it a sulit meal whether for lunch or dinner.

We enjoyed it so much that we ended up ordering more for take-out to bring home! That’s how you know it’s good — when you’re already full but still want extra to-go.

The food stall is part of the food concessionaires inside SM Supermarket at Festival Mall, so it’s a convenient spot to grab a meal after grocery shopping or while running errands.
After finishing our meal (yes, ubos lahat except the bones!), my husband even brought our plates to the “Clean As You Go” area — nice to see that the place encourages discipline and cleanliness among diners.
