Sharp Celebrates Major Milestone: 11 Million Washing Machines Produced

When I received an invite to attend an event at Sharp Philippines’ main office in Alabang, I eagerly said yes. This was where I did my OJT 24 years ago, and I was excited to revisit the place, see how things have changed, and reconnect with old memories.

The event marked a significant milestone with the production of 11 million washing machines. The celebration, attended by distinguished guests including local government officials and Masanori Komori, Sharp Corporation Japan’s Unit General Manager of Cleaning, Laundry, and Smart Appliances, underscored the company’s commitment to excellence and its global vision for washing machine innovation.

Kazuo Kito, President and General Manager of Sharp Philippines, expressed pride in the company’s milestone, highlighting that it reflects the unwavering dedication of the Sharp team and the strong support from their valued dealers and customers. Customers can take advantage of a limited-time offer on the 7kg Fully Auto ES-JN07A9 (GY) washing machine, now available for just ₱11,000 (down from its SRP of ₱13,198). Additionally, Sharp is offering free check-ups and an 11% discount on parts replacement for their washing machines. This promotion runs from August 15 to September 30, 2024.
