Philippines-Australia Friendship Festival is back!

Yours truly surprisingly got an invite to be part of the launching of Philippines-Australia Friendship Festival that was held at SM Megamall Fashion Hall last May 20-22, 2022.

This was their first face-to-face festival since the pandemic said Australian Ambassador to the Philippines, Steven J Robinson AO.

This festival was an opportunity to share an experience of Australia with a food, retail, study and travel festival to Filipinos that visited the area.

They featured world-class wines, sustainable meat, fresh fruits, healthy snacks, and Coles products from Australia that are available exclusively at SM Markets. Australian cosmetic brand BYS also launched their new product line. Qantas also lead an information session about travelling to Australia and the Australian Trade and Investment Commission also gave an overview about study options in Australia.

The festival also featured hand-made clothing, accessories and gift items as well as fresh and artisanal food that are proudly made by Australia-educated Filipinos.

Experience Australia: The Philippine-Australia Friendship Festival is presented by the Australian Embassy in partnership with SM Megamall, SM Markets, Qantas, BYS and the Australia Global Alumni.
